Use the fact that bubbles will only move when an ant has climbed inside to your advantage and set them down as soon as possible.
Avoid bunching ants too closely as this can sometimes lead to accidentally tapping the wrong one when you want them to jump an obstacle.
A good strategy in this game is to finish every level from the begining with three stars before moving on.
