This is a free-to-play first person action runner with survival mechanics that has a more narrative-driven approach than the original. You take control of a truck driver who has to charge through fields, forests, military bases, and other areas in his journey to reach his sister. In order to stay alive while doing this you must slay hordes of zombies using whatever weapons you have at your disposal. Although the game is an endless runner a story does evolve over time that has multiple endings.

#3: The Walking Dead Seasons 1 and 2

These are a series of click-and-point adventure games with comic book style graphics that are based on the Walking Dead TV series. The seasons include multiple episodes with branching storylines that revolves around a convict named Lee Everett as he protects a little girl named Clementine when the zombie apocalypse breaks out. The game ranges from free (for the first episode) to 14.99 for a season pass to every episode in the game.

#4: Zombie Gunship Survival

This free-to-play game is part of the Zombie Gunship series and involves you establishing a base of survivors in a post apocalyptic world while also controlling a heavily armed AC-130 gunship which you use to defend them from the skies against an onslaught of zombies. The game itself is level-based and the missions get harder in difficulty as you make progress.

The object of this free-to-play endless runner strategy game that takes place post-apocalypse is to survive as long as possible on the road which is plagued with zombies trying to flip your car over. As you travel on the highway the zombies will become tougher and harder to kill. The game has ranks and unlocking a specific rank will allow you to access more cars and weapons to help you survive.
