I Am Dead is a single player adventure and puzzle game. You play the role of Morris Lupton, a recently-deceased museum curator of the tiny island of Shelmerston who is reunited with the ghost of his also deseased pet dog, Sparky, who tells him a disaster is about to destroy his beloved island. Together, they must uncover Shelmerston's ancient mysteries, prevent the island's volcano from erupting, and save the place they call home. In order to do this the duo must unearth a number of Shelmerston's lost and scattered ghosts which they can achieve by visiting places they spent time in and entering the memories of people who knew them best and learning the stories of their lives.
