Hero Wars is a free-to-play action strategy RPG adventure game where you journey through a fantasy world collecting heroes and their equipment to build a powerful party.

As you progress through the campaign, you battle various enemies to gain team and hero EXP, earn Guild activity points, and obtain items required to increase your Hero rank. Hero Wars is available on Android and iOS.

Hero Wars Cheats and Tips

Below is a collection of cheats and tips that will help you to stay alive in the game.

• Log In Daily

  Make sure you log in daily to claim your free reward for the day. When you log in for the first time each day tap on the clipboard icon on the top left side of the screen and go to the 'Daily Bonus' tab. It is here you will also be able to see the rewards for the next 30 days.

• Complete Daily Quests

  Focus on completing your Daily Quests as doing so will earn you much needed resources and keep your progress on track. To see your Daily Quests tap the book icon on the top left corner of the main screen.

  Daily Quests tend to be tasks that you would normally do during gameplay anyway and are not difficult to accomplish. Daily Quests reset daily and if you log in during specific times you will also be able to claim free 60 Energy.

• Keep Recruiting Heroes

  Make sure you are diligent in your recruitment of new Heroes as you need to constantly replace your lineup with better ones. This can be done by playing through campaign missions where a Hero Soul stones can be picked up on every stage.

  Another way to get Hero Soul stones is to recieve them as rewards by playing the various Events that occur simultaneously in the game. You can also get Heroes by tapping the treasure box on the main screen and purchasing chests at 200 Emeralds each.

• Best Team

  Once you have collected several Heroes you will need to put together the best team possible from your roster. When choosing the Heroes to include you need to consider each of their skills carefully so you have an even balance between damage, damage mitigation, healing, and disables. Heroes that are particularly useful to have in your team are those that have versatile skills.

• Upgrade Heroes

  To upgrad skills costs skill points and some Gold which makes it a costly process, therefore it is advised that you only upgrade the Heroes that are in your main team. Don't waste valuable resources leveling up skills of Heroes you have no intention of using.

  To upgrade a Hero tap on the Heroes icon at the bottom of the screen and then on the page that appears tap on the arrow beside the skill you want to upgrade.

• Unlock Skills

  The number of skills your Hero has is dependant on their rank. Every time you rank up the hero additional skills are unlocked. To rank up a Hero you need to fill up the six slots of the Hero you want to promote with the required items.

  Each Hero will have a different set of items that need to be found, you can find out how to get each of these items by tapping on the magnifying glass icon on the slot. Once you promote your Hero these items will be consumed.

• Evolve Heroes

  Increasing the power of your Heroes is done through evolution which is a achieved by collecting the required number of Soul stones to raise their star rating. The higher the star rating of your Hero the stronger they will be. The stats of your Hero will substantially increase with each evolution.

• Farming Hero Soul Stones

  If you go to your Hero's skills page and tap on the arrow button that is beside the Soul stones icon on the bottom right you will be given a list of locations where you can farm the Soul stones and buttons you can tap to automatically be taken to those stages.

• Finding Specific Hero Soul Stones

  You can always get a specific Hero Soul stone by purchasing it using Emeralds at the Friendship and Arena shops.

• Free Hero Soul Stones

  Every 12 hours you will be able to open 2 free chests to get random Hero Soul stones.

• Unlock Skins

  The skins for your Hero are not just cosmetic. The default and alternate skin have an effect that boosts your Hero's main stat and will increase as you upgrade it with Skin stones. The skin stones you need will depend on the main stat of your Hero. To unlock the alternate skin you will need to spend 5,000 Skin stones.

  It is possible to acquire Skin tones as rewards but the primary source to obtain them are Outland Chests. In order to unlock Outland and farm this chests you will need to reach level 25.

• Raise Your Team Level

  Above your main avatar on the top left of your screen is your Team Level and it is this which determines your player level and the maximum level of your Heroes.

  When you complete campaign missions you will gain Team Level experience as a reward and it is this which will raise your Team Level when you have acquired the required amount. You will not be able to raise the level of your Heroes beyond the limit of your Team Level.

• The Theatre

  To access the Theatre tab tap on the Merchant in the main screen. Here you will be able to view the different items you can obtain using Tickets. The Tickets you need for the Theater are earned by tapping on the 'Get Ticket' button at the bottom of the screen. Once the video advertisement that appears has finished playing you will be rewarded with one ticket.

• Free Emeralds

  If you tap on the plus sign beside the Emerald icon on the top of your screen you will be taken to the in-game store where you will be able to earn free Emeralds. At the bottom of the in-store page you will see a Task list button that will take you to an offer wall.

  These offers will mostly involve installing another game and reaching a specified milestone. Once you complete these task you will be rewarded the indicated amount of Emeralds for Hero Wars. Considering how hard it is to get them these offers are worth doing as the rewards can be as much as 1,500 Emeralds.

• Check Your Mail

  Always remember to check your mail, this is the envelope icon at the top left of your screen. Hero Wars sometimes gives out rewards for completing certain tasks or accomplishments in the arena so it is wothwhile regularly tapping the envelope to check to see if anything has been sent to your mailbox.
