Harvestella Cheats and Tips

Harvestella revolves around farming crops while attempting to save the world from the sudden appearance of a deadly magical plague known as Quietus. We have several Harvestella cheats, tips, and a beginner guide which will help you in the game which is available on Nintendo Switch and PC.

Harvestella Trailer

The game takes place in a world with four giant crystals called Seaslight, which ensure a stable change between the four seasons. This is disrupted when Quietus, the Season of Death, causes crops to wither and die across the land and prevents people from going outside. In Harvestella you will be able to explore the various cities and dungeons as you embark on your mission to save the world.

Harvestella Cheats, Tips Strategy

Below is a collection of cheats, hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why it is important that you plan your day and why you should craft the Return Bell as soon as possible.

  • Plan your Day

There is a day/night cycle in Harvestella and nearly every action you perform will whittle away the clock. It is therefore important that you carefully plan out each day before you leave the farm, so you don't waste time.

If you are new to Harvestella the schedule below is a good starting point during the beginning hours of the game. Keep in mind that as you progress this will change depending on where you are at in the story.

    - Check your mail

    - Water the crops

    - Manage your inventory

    - Determine which quest you will be working on

    - Head back home

    - Craft new items

    - Sell items in your Shipping Box

  • Don't Neglect your Farm

Don't fall into the trap of disregarding running your farm in favor of adventuring as doing so will place you at a disadvantage. It is crucial that you plant, water, and upgrade your homestead as it not only allows you to sell crops to generate an income but many of the plants can also be used in recipes that will help you out on the battlefield.

  • Crafting is Important

During the early stages of Harvestella you will unlock the ability to craft new items and it is important that you take advantage of this feature which is performed inside your house at Bird's Eye Brae. One of the first items you should craft is a Return Bell, which allows you to teleport directly back to your farm.

The Return Bell can be a lifesaver when you need to escape impossible situations or when the day is about to come to an end, and you need to quickly get home. There are plenty of other useful items you can also craft so make sure you keep an eye on what is available to build. You will be shown how to craft in the Tutorial.

  • Talk to the Townsfolk

Don't forget to talk to the locals when you are in town as doing so will often lead to lucrative side quests which you will otherwise miss out on. It is therefore recommended that you spend a day just meandering around the town getting to know your neighbors.

  • Always Activate the Fast Travel Points

In Harvestella fast travel points are called Motus Monolites and not all of them are activated automatically. To manually activate one of these fast travel points which also act as checkpoints you simply have to approach it when you come across one.

If you forget to do this you will end up wasting a significant amount of time as you will not be able to bypass sections by jumping directly to where you want to go. Travel points (Motus Monolites) look like weird orbs sticking out of the ground.

  • Repair Ladders and Bridges

The broken ladders and bridges that you come across in Harvestella's dungeons are similar to Motus Monolites in that once repaired they enable you to quickly navigate a map and also serve as checkpoints.

Although you will be able to repair ladders without any resources the process will eat up some time while fixing the bridges requires a Repair Kit.

  • Don't Button Mash in Battle

It is important to remember that each of the Job Skills you have has a cooldown timer linked to it, this means you need to avoid button mashing during battle. The best strategy is to instead only use the Job Skills that correspond to your foe's weakness and leave the other Job Skills untouched.

Also keep in mind there is a brief delay when you switch Job Skills which means rapidly switching between them during combat is a bad tactic.
