In this game in the long running series of Harvest Moon, you have a lot of choices and freedom to what you'd enjoy doing. It is quite like the game Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility which came out not too long before Harvest Moon: Animal Parade, but it still has it's own storyline. From ringing the five bells in order to restore the Harvest Goddess Tree, to summoning the Harvest King, you'll never get bored.
The three-dimensional graphics are outstanding. All of the detail into everything (especially when zoomed in on the camera) are phenomenal. The only downside of graphics- is that you don't get to control your camera angle like in other Harvest Moon games. Depending on the place you're standing, it has a stationary angle.
Some of the sound effects are odd (like your child's cry). But the music itself is quite soothing and catchy. If you play for too long you find yourself singing it later in the day. The music tracks change depending on what season, and district you are in.
This is 100% the best game. There were so many different qualities that made it so great. Including the 1x1 crop tilling, having two children, being able to choose your gender, rival marriage, rivals having kids, being able to dress your character, riding livestock, having family that helps with work, and earning trophies for completing 100% of the game.
Animal Parade was unlike the early Harvest Moon games, but very common to Tree of Tranquility. In the first years of the Harvest Moon series, there was the same town, with the same storyline- boring. This was very refreshing, and a wonderful add to the series. As far as it being related to Tree of Tranquility- it ends the same way. Spoiler:
Overall, this game has so many features that makes it amazing. Like
