.Hack// the birth of a whole new gaming experience?Added 7 Dec 2004, ID #11919
Wow, the worlds first simulated MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) but is it actually any good? Well the story line is simple enough although it will develop into a much more complex story. Basically you are new user Kite, or whatever you want to be called (I was Shadow), a Twin Blade. You soon meet up with your school friend Yasuhiko, more commonly known as Orca.

After travelling the first ungeon with your strong friend you see a white girl, her name: you'll have to find out yourself!, being chased by a large creature with a red wand. You and Orca are soon following them into this big room. Orca's natural instinct is to attack the monster, however this has no effect (you'll see why later in the game) and he gets put on to the wand and...that's spoiling so find out yourself!

Afterwards you will meet up with spunky girl called BlackRoseand warp to a chirch where you meet Balmung and the girl in white bestows upon you the Book of Twilight...
Well a unique story, unique characters, many different zones and finally a free DVD! This is an RPG like no other...

Summary: The only major concern is the lifespan, it took me 25 hours to complete Final Fantasy 10, whereas it took me 12 hours, plus all the extra missions, to complete .Hack//.
