Gunlord X Cheats and Tips

To get the Salival is Down! Trophy you must defeat 'Salival' who is the boss on the second level. Salival has an attack you need to avoid where he shoots a cannon from his chest that travels down the middle of the level. As well as bullets the boss will also shoot homing shots at you which are easy to dodge as they hesitate for a second before they start coming towards you. When you eventually defeat the boss the level will be finished and the trophy will unlock.

To get the Ludger is Down! Trophy you need to defeat 'Ludger' who is the boss of the first level. In order to do this you need to jump on the platform that is in the middle of the fight and stay on the left edge. Ludger will be shooting his gun at the bottom of the screen and will eventually start to move up. When the boss stops shooting move down off the platform.

At this point in the fight Ludger will perform one of two attacks. He will either shoot bugs from his mouth, which you can easily dispatch using the Right Stick, or he will launch bombs at you. If Ludger launches bombs you need to stay under the platform and damage him using the Right Stick. He will then proceed to start shooting his gun along the bottom again, so proceed to jump back on the platform. Keep repeating this strategy until you have whittled down all of Ludger's health. Once you have done, so he will blow up and the trophy will become unlocked.

To get the Gumbanis is Down! Trophy you need to defeat 'Gumbanis' who is the boss you encounter halfway through the third level. In order to do this you need to jump on the 2-3 platforms that are on each side of the screen, and also on the long platform at the bottom of the screen.

When the fight starts jump down on the long platform that is at the bottom of the screen and blast away at Gumbanis. After a period of time the boss will get picked up on a pair of hooks. When this occurs you need to jump to the far left platform, and stand on the left side and continue blasting away at the boss. While you do this you also need to mash L2 on your controller to eliminate the little enemies it spawns. If you keep shooting away the boss it will eventually blow up and the trophy will become unlocked.

Pressing the L2 button on your controller activates a screen wipe that will kill any small enemies you currently see on the screen. It won't kill large enemies and does no damage to bosses whatsoever. This screen wipe is particularly useful against the bosses that spawn small minions such as Gumbanis.

In Gunlord X you will be granted an extra continue which is 3 extra lives by getting all the Super Diamonds in a level. Always aim to get all the Super Diamonds as having the 3 extra lives will come in very helpful in a lot of the levels. Continues stack so by getting all the Super Diamonds on every level you play could result in you ending up with multiple extra lives on hard levels you struggle with.
