This great game came out for PS2 on 06-06-06. After the commotion with the PSP's version, Rockstar made one for the PS2. The thing is. . . You can't fly in the game. However, there are new cars. Like the Hellenbach GT, Phobos VT, Diemos, and every car has had a stylish upgrade. The Manana has become a sporty roadster with the greatest handling in the game. The Perihanal has become less boxy looking and has a little handling upgrade. Mainly. . . Fast cars are easy to find. Keep reading. . .
The graphics have improved. The frame rate is still the same. But there is more detail to the characters in the game. The cars seem to have lost detail but special effects have improved. Gun detail has decreased but building detail is gaining. However, the splash effects are still. . . How you say. . . CRAPPY! But the draw distance has improved the most.
Great Music, especially Lips 106, and Head Radio. My personal favorites. Every song on the game has a great beat to it, making it an addictive game all-in-all. It seems as if they have improved the quality of the sound overall with an equalizer. The overall rating of sound would be 10 out of 10. Perfect sounds.
A very smooth gameplay, to say the least. The story line is VERY different, only the city is the same. With Fort Staunton being complete. (Remember all the construction?) But you blow it all up again in the mission "Bringing Down The House." You play as "Toni Cipriani." A main character you worked for in GTA III. You should get this game! I recommend it.
This game will take you about 2 days to complete; the main story missions that is. . . If you know what you are doing you might complete 100% in about a week or two. This game will last a LONG time. Trust me. The main story missions have gained in difficulty, especially near the end. But you can beat them after you know what's going on.
I'd give it a 10 out of 10. It's a great game, so I recommend it. You will enjoy this game more than you think. Rockstar Games has done well with the rencarnation of GTA III. THe only thing is you only have certain outfits to put on, not any clothes shops like in San Andreas. But the shops, diners, girlfriends, planes, and copters might return in "Vice City Stories." The next game. Or possibly in. . . Yup, you guessed it, San Andreas Stories.
