How to Defeat Morrigan

Morrigan is the God of War and is one of the toughest bosses to defeat in Gods Will Fall. This giant crow-like creature is able to move at lightning speeds and dishes out high amounts of damage using it's wings which are knife-like feathers. In order to defeat this boss you will need to use a fast character that is proficient at dodging as running up to Morrigan and spamming attacks will not work as this boss will simply deflect your attacks by using it's wings as a shield. Also, if you get too close to the boss it will go into a flurry of deadly wing attacks by swinging it's wings above it's head and slamming them down on you.

The way in which to defeat his boss is to dodge Morrigan's wing attacks and wait for the very short windows where your attack can damage it. These brief moments will be immediately after it lands and immediately after it's attacks. You can make this fight easier by picking up the burning embers you can find lying on the ground and throwing them at the boss. To pick up the ember press R1 on your controller and then hold down R1 + the heavy or light attack buttons to throw it at Morrigan when the boss is not shielded by it's wings. If you connect with the boss it will stun it momentarily. Repeat this process making sure you run to safety after each attack until you kill Morrigan.

How to Defeat Krannus

Krannus is the ruler of the Realm of Knowledge and although this boss looks formidable and capable of dealing plenty of damage it will not attack you itself but instead use it's minions to do it's fighting. These will be in the form of two goat-men protectors that are on either side of Krannus and you will have to take down these minions first before you can get to the boss.

Before you engage in combat with the two minions it is essential that you examine the two pillars on either side of the walkway leading to the boss arena as doing so will grant your warrior two new skills, these are randomly assigned and there is the possibility that what you are issued will make your character considerably more powerful and make the forthcoming figtht a lot easier.

You will see Krannus directly in front of you at the back of the room when you walk through the gateway into the boss arena. To begin with you will not be able to deal any damage to Krannus during the battle, you must focus your attention on taking down the two minions protecting the boss. These minions only have one attack they can use and in order to make an opening to attack you must either dodge or parry it first. It is recommended to make things easier for yourself that you focus on depleting the health bars of one minion at a time.

Once you have taken down both of it's minions Krannus will roar which will cause a wall to the right to come crumbling down. All you then need to do is climb up the rubble to reach a small walkway which will lead you to the top of Krannus' head where you can jump up and slam own on it a couple of times to kill the boss.

How to get the A Gift From The Past Achievement/Trophy

To get the A Gift From The Past achievement/trophy you must retrieve an item from the old well. In order to do this you need to go to the well in the over world and select the option to drop an item down it. Make sure that the item you decide to drop in the well is something you do not want as you will not be getting it back. If you now start a new game and go to that same well there will now be an option to pull up the bucket. You will now discover that the item you dropped is now in possession of the party in the new game and the old game has the achievement unlocked.

Note: Each party in the two games can only interact with the well one time.

How to Heal (Regain Vigor)

It is crucial in Gods Will Fall that you know how to heal which in this case is to replenish vigour. When you enter a dungeon to take on the boss of that world a red bar will appear to the left of your screen which will signify your characters vigour. This is basically a health bar which if it runs out your character will either die or be trapped in the dungeon, so it is important that you always pay attention to it.

The way to regain vigour in Gods Will Fall is by consuming an item that specifies that it will replenish your health, this is done by pressing the directional button on your controller in whatever area the consumable is stored in your inventory and then pressing R2 to consume it. Another way to regain health is by killing enemies in combat, so you fill up the vigour bar on your left, when you fill up a segment of it you will be able to unleash a battle roar by pressing L2 on your controller that will turn your bloodlust into force. Basically, the more bloodlust you have, the more damage you will do and the more vigor you will get.

How to get the Burried Treasure Achievment/Trophy

To get the Buried Treasure achievement/trophy you need to trade with the Barrow Hag. Whenever you complete a dungeon in Gods Will Fall you will be rewarded with some random consumable items. One of these consumables is BURIAL FE and once you have obtained it you need to go to the Burial Mound which is the area you go to when you want to get weapons for your warriors from Barrow Hag.

When you approach a rock in the bottom-middle of the Burial Mound a prompt will appear asking if you have the item in your possession. After summoning Barrow Hag you will be able to 'trade' with her, this will involve her randomly taking one of your characters as a tribute and in return you will receive a selection of random mediocre weapons.

Note: It has been reported that if you dashboard quit when the achievement/achievement has been unlocked and then reload the game you will be at the Burial Mound with all the warriors you went there with and still have the achievement/trophy.

Restart to Get a Solid Team

Whenever you begin a new game in Gods Will Fall you are assigned eight random warriors with varying combat styles, weapons, stats and lore. If the team you are issued is a group of characters with poor stats it is recommended that you restart the game straight away in the hope that you will get better characters the next time. There is no point continuing with the game when you have an entire party of characters with poor stats, you will not be penalized in any way if you restart the game.

How to Save Characters (Warriors)

If your character runs out of vigour but are not killed during the fight trying to defeat one of the gods in their respective dungeons they will become trapped there and will need rescuing. In order to do this you will need to use another warrior and send them into that dungeon to clear it out of enemies. Once and you manage to do this you will save every single character that was trapped in that domain.
