Glover is a game where a wizzard is mixing a potion. He mixes the wrong items and causes an explosion. One glove falls out a window and the other falls in the potion. The one that fell out the window is Glover. The one that went in the potion is Crosstitch. The magical crystals on top of the castle fall off and to stop them from breaking, Glover franticaly changes the crystals to balls. Each time you retrive a ball by beating a realm's boss, bring it to the wizzard, who is now a fountain. He will take it and change it back to a magical crystal. Basicly, the piont of the game is to retrive all balls, change them back to magic crystals, and restore peace to the land. In the game you can use special codes in order to help you along the way. It makes enough sense but if you use certain codes, it could alter the way you think about it making sense. If you're looking for a challange, Glover is that game.
I'd give it an honest 8 out of 10. I've seen new games that make it look like HDTV. Other than that I like how they show wet footprints if you just touched any bit of water, even a puddle. The crew that made the game was pretty skilled at this and also creative. I'd say 8 out of 10 is what people would usualy say if they studied the game enough.
I said 6 out of 10 for a pretty good reason. The sounds are repeated alot throughout the entire game. Sometimes the sound are a little "cheesy" if you'd ask me. The gameplay is pretty interesting but I wouldn't say the music and sound effects are all that great. I gave it a 6 because sometimes it's sounds cool. (but sometimes, it doesn't)
The gameplay is pretty challanging. Well, it all depends on how you think. Sometimes the game is fun, while sometimes, you feel as if you wanted to rip off your scalp, and sometimes, it feels like you're going to have a heart attack. Also, it makes SOME sense but if you happen to use a ton of codes, you may get confused on it.
I'd DEFFINATLY give it a 9 out of 10 for it's lastability. Even with codes the game takes a REALLY long time, especially if your teachers pile you on with homework. Still, even with codes you have gotten, the bosses will stump you. Some are easy and some, are hard. 9 out of 10 is a good score but now that you know why...maybe not.
Overall, I give this game a 9 out of 10. It's challenging, long, fun, hard, has great graphics, and is a great and interesting fantisy adventure. There are some useful codes too but they are NEVER needed. I repeat: Codes are useful, cool, and make it easier but they are NEVER needed. That's all there is to this Glover review!
PS: I have some codes up too. Feel free to look at them. The name is:
