Hey everybody I need help on changing yoshis color when he comes out of the egg.....
I used to know how to do it but I forgot and you guys seem to know alot about this game

You have to beat the Flower Cup with any character in Doubles to allow Yoshi to do this!
You don't need to do anything special to get Yoshi to change colors. All you need to do is beat the Flower Cup as doubles.
