I know that after you pay off your entire loan to Tom Nook, he builds a statue of you by the train station. I've read that you get a ladder to get to another part of your town. Is this true? If so, how do I get the ladder? Thanks.

There is no ladder, where ever you heard that was wrong.
there is no ladder if your the first person to pay it off, it is big and gold,but if your the second person its tiny and silver,and that is as far as ive ever gotten
