How do you unlock Marik? Don't say beat the ghouls 1 time each because I have and I still don't have him.

Whoever said "beat the ghouls 7 times each" is wrong. First you have to duel the Ghouls??? (#29) duelist picture. You will then duel a random ghoul. After you beat him, choose to duel the Ghouls??? again and you will duel another random ghoul.
Do this until you beat all five ghouls. (If you lose once, you will have to start over). Then, Marik will be unlocked. Defeat him once to be able to chose any one of the ghouls at the duelist selection screen.
PS. If you're about to lose, shut the game off and try again. You won't have to start over.
