Do you have to start a new a game after you beat Marik?

After the finals when I'm on the credits it freezes and I was wondering do you have to Beat Marik with Ra on the field or something else.

It happens with my game too, I've even beat him with both my god cards on the field. It's probably a glitch in the game you can't do anything about it
