How do you get to the star road on the island??? I can't get there.

To attempt to do this, you must first have a yoshi. Go to Cheese Bridge Area and go all the way to the green platform before the exit. Jump off the platform and go under the exit. After you get past the exit while "falling down," jump off the yoshi .(press R) After taking the secret exit farther right, you'll unlock the soda lake. Beat that stage and there it is! (the stage is a bit difficult)
