Alright, I beat the whomping Willow and went inside I took all the steps and beat the mazes and finally I went into the shrieking shack where there was a short scene with Snape Ron Hermione and Pettigrew and then we have to get out of the shack so I follow the path back with Hermione and get stuck at this BIG Troll blocking my way.
Does anyone know how to beat the troll or if I am going the wrong way or if I am suppose to go another way. Please help I have been stuck on this one part for months.

There is no other way, you must fight it. Keep using incendio and petrificus totalus, and train with the other monsters if you need to.
