use a senzu bean just before you die. to get one you kill the alligators until you get 3 fish, then go to kamis lookout, and onto the grey fly thing and give the cat the fish. it should give you one.
For one thing, do NOT go super saiyan during that fight. Trunks as a assj makes himself pathetically slow.
