Question for Advance Wars

Hey guys I am on the last level. Yes, the one where you face sturm and you have control over all three orange star Cos. I really need help; the guy we are fighting is just too tough. Anybody have winning strategies? It would be highly appreciated!

I've beaten it 2 times. It's kind of hard to explain, but you just have to spread your units apart so sturm's power wont hurt you a lot. When you play, it seems like andy, the one in the middle, is getting beat up badly. So you have to build a lot of inexpensive units to keep him going for a while. Then, I try to focus my attack on the sides with max and sami. And, uh, thats it.
P.S. DONT LET ANY OF THE COs LOSE.
P.P.S or P.S.S (I forgot which) it took me many tries to defeat him. And I ended up getting a D

Sturm's co power is really annoying... You need to avoid it and before he uses his co power you need to defeat many enimies as many as you can and don't let your units be at 5 square diameter...that's only..

Your actions in campaign can change the officer you use, Andy will ALWAYS be in the middle, for Max, choose Andy for Mission 4, for Grit, choose Max for mission 4, for Olaf, Win mission 6 Olaf's navy by defeating all the enemy units, for Sami, meet NONE of the following requirements, Kanbei, Kanbei Arrives, 8 days, Mighty Kanbei, 10 days, Kanbei's error, 12 days, Eagle, choose Sami for all 4 Green Earth missions, (note, this will add a battle after The Final Battle) And for Drake, choose Andy for all 4 green earth missions, Have the left and Right Armies support Andy at once, and strike quickly but spread out your units, (meteor strike will target the overall highest value), and if opportunity presents itself, build air units and destroy Sturm
