Cloning in Pokemon Emerald

Cloning in Pokemon Emerald is simple if you know how to do it. Only clone up to 5 at one time, and always leave one Pokemon at the front of your party. Don't try to clone it. Just leave it.

#1: Go to the Battle Tower in the Battle Frontier.

#2: Walk to the PC, and deposit the Pokemon you want cloned (along with items you want cloned held).

#3: Quit out of the PC, and save the game.

#4: Go back into the PC and withdraw the Pokemon you're trying to clone.

#5: Walk to the lady at the far right (nearest to the PC).

#6: Select the open-level or lv. 50 challenge.

#7: Select the first Pokemon in your party (cannot be a legendary or hold the same item as the item you're attempting to duplicate) and another one, and the other one doesn't matter (same rules as above).

#8:Confirm your choice.

#9: She will ask you if it is okay to save. Say yes. At this point, the game will momentarily freeze. DO NOT TURN IT OFF DURING THE FREEZE. However, once the game asks you to save the game after the freeze, turn your device off.

#10: Turn on your game and go up to the box. You should have the Pokemon in your party, and in the box where you deposited them.
