Everyone, I am still Naveen Akshar, I just happened to changed my email id
and username, so naveen1045 becomes Axar1045. Sorry for the inconvinience to
everyone, especially GameFAQs. This goes for my two reviews as well.
Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo Entertainment system, revolutionarised
Video gaming, after the infamous video game crash of 1983. This small but
brilliant platformer really put together an amazing Game.
This Game goes hand in hand with the Film 'Titanic', because almost everyone
in the world has seen it and has played this Masterpeice of a game.
Super Mario Bros. Deluxe is a port of the NES version to the Game Boy
Color. The GBC version features Multiplayer and a challenge mode.
The Graphics of this port are almost alike except for a few improved
animations in water and lava. The sound is exactly the same as the NES
version. In the GBC version, you can view a map of the current world you are
in, before any level.
This guide was constructed using the plain old Notepad on Courier New. It
also looks very fine on Lucida Console. Please take full use of the
Control + F system that I have used for making this guide.
If you have any FAQs or any suggestions, feel free to mail me them. Kindly
keep it to normal English and no swear words please. I will answer any mail
in probably a day or two, so you need not worry.
This is my first guide, so was pretty nervous about it. I Didn't know
whether it would get posted or not.
This guide is 100% spoiler free, so you need not read cautiously for
surprise plot elements (Not that it has many).
I may make a few spelling mistakes here and there and I am sorry for those.
Please mail me about these mistakes or any other grammatical errors, if you
have the time to do so.
This Platformer deserves to go down in History as the most unique and
revolutionarising game ever made. Three Cheers for Nintendo.

1. Remember, Jumping is your only chance of killing enemies. You can jump on
almost all the enemies you come across.
2. Every level is timed, so don't dawdle.
3. Mario, when picked up a star is invincible. You can just run through your
enemies and not get hurt. It wears of after a while.
4. Apart from the Star Mario, the Fiery Mario is also very powerfull. Mario
is vunerable to enemy attacks but the fireball will deestroy almost every
enemy in the game. You can become this when you have picked up a fire
flower, which will only start spawning when you are Super Mario.
5. Watch out for the Man eating plants. They pop out of pipes and can only
be destroyed by a fireball.
6. At the end of every level(except castle ones) there will be a pole for
you to catch and a flag on top of it. The higher you catch, the more
points you get. So, run from the edge of the stairs and jump and hold
the A button, you should hit the flag. Doing that ensures a 5000+
points.
7. The Piranha Plant won't come up if you are standing right on the pipe, so
don't try and be quick.
8. In underwater levels, if you just walk on the sea bed, the Bloobers won't
be able to affect you, they jsut come near you, and move back up again.
9. Always remember to try and kill a Lakitu as soon as possible. You
definately wouldn't want it troubling you the entire level.

In this section, I will just tell you the basics in Super Mario Bros. DX.

* 5.1 The Characters (CHCT005) *

1. Mario - The Short, Stout Italian plumber is the hero of this game.
2. Luigi - The other green playable charecter of the game. He is Mario's
brother and accompanies him in this adventure. You can play him
by pressing the select button on the map screen.
3. Princess Toadstool - Otherwise known as Princess Peach has been kidnapped
and its upto Mario and Luigi to rescue her.
4. Browser - The main villian and the one who Kidnapped Princess Peach. You
fight Browser in all the castle levels in the game.
5. Toads - These guys have also been captured by Browser and must be saved
by Mario.

* 5.2 The Enemies (ENMS006) *

1. Goombas - They are the most basic enemies you will face in the game. Just
one jump and that should do it.
2. Koopa Troopa - These turtles have to be stuned before you dispose of
them. The red one is cleverer than the green one.
3. Koopa Paratroopa - These turtle's have attached wings which enables them
to fly.
4. Pirana Plants - These plants pop in and out of pipes. Can only be
defeated by a fireball.
5. Hammer Brothers - These turtles throw hammers at Mario. They normally,
spawn at blocks and can be defeated either by jumping on them or throwing
out a fireball. They are the most powerful enemy in the game, apart from
Browser.
6. Bloober - These Eels trouble you only in Underwater levels. Their
movement is not to be underestimated. They have to be killed by a
fireball.
7. Cheep-Cheep - These fishes also appear only in Underwater levels. They
also have to be killed by a fireball.
8. Flying Fishes - These flying fishes only appear in some levels. They fly
left or right and can be killed even by jumping on them.
9. Lakitu - These enemies fly on clouds and drop eggs which transform
into Spineys. They are very dangerous and have to be killed very quickly
before they can drop any of these.
10. Spineys - These enemies are formed from eggs, dropped from Air Turtles,
they have sharp spikes which cannot be stepped upon. They have to be
killed by a fireball.
11. Buzzy Beetles - These guys are similar to the Koopas except that Fire
does not affect them.
12. Bullets - Bullets are shot from miniature cannons. They can be destroyed
by jumping on them.

1. Mushroom - Mushrooms will evolve Mario into Super Mario. Super mario has
the ability to break bricks.
2. Fire Flower - These flowers will turn Super Mario into Fiery mario. Fiery
Mario can shoot fireballs which take cares of almost all
the enemies in one shot.
3. Star - With this collected, Mario becomes invinclible.
4. 1 UP Mushroom - These Mushrooms will add and extra life to mario.
5. Coins - The Basic currency of any Mario game. If you collect 100 in one
level, you gain an extra life.

This section covers the main walkthrough for Super Mario Bros. DX (ie. the
original 1985 version).
/ uper mario Bros Deluxe /------------------------------------------------O

As you gain control, move right and a kill the Goomba that appears. Hit all
the blocks and one of them should contain a Mushroom. While in Super Mario,
break all the bricks for some points. Now jump over the pipe and keep moving
right to meet another Goomba. Over the next pipe are two more Goomba's. Kill
all of them. Stand on top of the next pipe and press the down key to go to
the underground.
Here, collect all the coins before moving through the pipe.
If you don't want to go through the underground way, then jump over the pipe
and keep heading right.Just before jumping to the next platform, there is a
1 UP hidden in the air. Just jump, to the air, fifth from the left side and
the 1 Up will pop out.Jump over to the next platform and two goombas will
appear from the bricks above. Hit the bricks as they step on it and they
should die. One of the blocks contain a Fire Flower, pick it up and you will
turn into Fiery Mario.
Continue further right, by jumping across the platforms. Here, you will face
two Goombas, just burn them with your fireballs and jump on the lone brick
and hit the coin block above. The brick you are standing on contains coins,
keep hitting it untill you have taken all.
Move further to encounter a Koopa Troopa, kill him and hit the brick next to
you for a Star. Take it and just run through all the enemies. Jump over the
brick steps that appear and over another pipe to face two more Goombas.
Break all the bricks and collect the coin before climbing up the steps to
complete this world.
/ uper mario Bros Deluxe /------------------------------------------------O
\ ------------------------\ 6.1.2 World 1-2 (WDOT010) |

Watch the quick scene, in which Mario, goes through a Pipe.
This level is an underground one. Go right to encounter some Goombas. Kill
them and collect all the coin blocks. Jump over the vertical blocks to
encounter a Goomba standing beneath you. Fall down as he's just next to you
and he will die. Get all the coins from the brick before heading out.
Head right and you will see two Koopa Troopas. Kill them and hit the three
bricks on the left most part of the brick structure and you will be able to
climb up and collect all the coins.
Go further right to encounter a Koopa and a Goomba, you can't go through the
small opening unless you are plain Mario. Kill them and break the bricks to
jump over it, you will encounter another Goomba now.
NOTE:- There's a way to reach portals that you can take to reach World 2, 3
and 4. Break all the bricks on the left side so that you can jump on
the large structure, now jump up and break all the bricks on top of
the screen, now jump up and if successful, you will be on the top of
the screen. Now just keep sprinting right for sometime, now you will
encounter falling platforms, jump on one and head to the platform
right of you. Here, there will be rising platforms, jump on one and
wait until it hits the top of the screen before jumping on to the
high platform on the right. Now, just keep going right and you should
see three pipes below you. These are the portals which will take you
to their respective worlds.
If you want to do it the normal way, then, head right to see some plants on
some pipes. Dodge them to see a Goomba. Jump across the brick structure and
you will see two more Goombas near a block staircase. Kill them and climb up
the stairs to reach the falling and rising platforms. Instead of jumping up,
there's also a platform right next to you. Climb out through the pipe to
reach the tall brick stairs. Climb them and complete the level.

As the world starts, head right and jump to the tree like structure. Jump to
the next tree and jump up to see a red koopa, dispose of him and collect all
the coins before jumping to the next tree.
Here, you will see two Goombas droping down from the next tree. Jump on both
of them and take the two coins left of you before jumping back up again.
Now, jump on to the iron bar which is moving up and down and jump on to the
tree on top. here, collect all the coins and jump down and hit the block.
Now, got to the next platform and jump to the tree above. You will see a Red
Koopa Paratroopa and a Goomba which drops down. When the Koopa is at the
highest point, jump on him, he will fall down and you will get to the
platform safely. Now, you will encounter iron bars which are moving left and
right, jump on the first one and get the coins above you, then jump on the
next one and do the same. After you have collected all the coins, jump on
the tree right of you.
Now, you will encounter another Red Koopa Paratroopa. There's no need to
worry about him as there's solid ground below him. Just jump on him whenever
you want and land on him again to push him of the ledge. Now, jump up right
to the next tree.
Jump to the next tree and collect the two coins in the air. Mow, you will
encounter another moving bar, which will take you to the huge pile of bricks
which will finish the level. Watch as Mario enters the castle.
/ uper mario Bros Deluxe /------------------------------------------------O
\ ------------------------\ 6.1.4 World 1-4 (WDOF012) |

Welcome to the first castle level of the game. As the level starts, head
right and jump over the lava to the next platform. Now, go right and you
will see a fire chain with a block on top of it. When the fire chain is
down, jump on the platform, hit the block and jump on top of it, collecting
the item. When the chain moves down again, fall down to the platform and
quickly jump to the next one.
Now, keep heading right and you will see a series of fire chains next to
you. There's nothing to worry about as as you go near it, it will go up and
you can easily pass. After three fire chains, you will drop to a slightly
lower platform and you will encounter another fire chain. Just jump as it
goes below you to encounter two more fire chains. This time, time your jump
when both the fire chains have passed each other, once they have, jump and
keep moving forward.
By now, you will encounter flames of fire coming towards you, duck when you
have to and jump up when its necessary. Now, keep moving forward for a while
and you will come to a bridge where you encounter Browser.

* Boss Battle - Browser *
*************************

| This battle is quite easy, as is with all the Browser battles. Avoid his |
| lames as much as you can. You will be able to see a moving platform |
| above the two of you. Thats your key if you are normal or Super Mario. |
| Jump on hat and again jump over him to the lever next to the bridge. |
| Jump on that lever and the bridge should colapse and Browser will fall |
| down with it. There's also another way to complete this if you are Fiery |
| Mario. Just shoot five fireballs on him and he will die. This is a much |
| easier method, but it can only be done by Fiery Mario. Regardless of the |
| method you took to defeat Browser, Mario will rescue Toad who tells him |
| that the princess is in another castle. Mario will then crush the castle |
| under his foot as a sign that he has conquered it. |

Start by going right and breaking all the bricks. Collect the item that
ppears and kill the Goomba that descends the stairs. Climb the stairs to
meet two green Koppas below you. Kill them and jump across the block pillar
to encounter two more Goombas.
NOTE:- When you encounter the two Koopas, bear in mind that if you try to
push them, they will hit the brick pillar on the right and deflect
right back at you. This will cost you your death whilst in normal
Mario.
Now go right and there will be a plant on the pipe. Wait until it goes back
down or just shoot some fireballs on it. Jump over the pipe to encounter two
Koopas. Kill them both and collect all the coins and the item that appears
in the lower section of the blocks. Head right and you will see three
Goombas. Dispose of them and keep heading right.
Now if you hit the upper brick, then a creeper will appear. Take the coins
and go up the creeper. Once on the top of the world, head right and jump
onto the platform. This platform will keep moving right, so collect all the
coins you see above you. If you fall down, there is solid ground below you
and its quite near the platform, so there's no need to be extra careful, you
can always jump back on the platform. At the end of the solid, you will see
three coins below you, fall down and get them as you do so.
As you drop down, you will be greeted by a Koopa Paratroopa. Get him and
head right. Hit the lone block near you and jump on it. Now, jump high and
hit the block right above you to get an item. Head right to encounter
another Green Koopa. Kill him and hit the two blocks before jumping on the
spring. Now, as the spring heads up, you need to jump. If done coorectly,
you will be at the top of the brick wall.
Now, just jump onto the flag to finish the level.

Watch another quick scene, in which Mario, goes through a Pipe.
Welcome to the first underwater level of the game. To swim, just navigate
through the water with the arrow pad and press the 'A' button to rise up.
You have an infinate supply of breath, so don't worry.
Now, swim right and collect the coins on the seabed. Here, you will
encounter an Bloober who tries to land on you to sting you. Avoid him at all
costs. Swim right and collect the coins above you. Head over the sea land to
get three more coins and you will face two more Eels near the violet color
plant. This is kinda tough as both these Eels have teamwork. The best way to
escape them is to swim up quickly and head right.
Now, collect the three coins next to you, but, don't swim too low as it will
result in a death. Continue forward to meet two fishes as well as an Eel.
Fishes don't bother about you, they just swim on their course without aiming
for you, but they can harm you if you touch them. Keep swimming right to see
another Eel. Dodge it to see another school of fish. Keep heading right and
collect the three coins below the water plants, now , swim up and take some
more coins. As, you pass the coins, you will see three more fish.
There are five coins below you, again, don't swin too low as you will drown.
Swim upwards to come across a structure with a heap of coins in it. Collect
the six coins and dodge all the fish you see. Now swim upward and out of the
structure.
Now, just swim forward and keep away from any fish you see and you will come
to a pipe which will take you back to the surface. Once you have climbed
out, then go up the blocks to complete the level.

This level is quite simple. All you need to do is jump and dodge.
As you gain control, jump over to the tree and climb up all the blocks. You
will be on a bridge now with fish flying everywhere. Its easy enoush as just
a jump will kill them. Anyway, head right and collect the coins as they
appear and collect five more coins just up ahead. Jump to the next bridge
and collect the coins here. Jump to the next one and hit the block and
collect the item.
Now, jump down to the tree below and jump over the small bridge and collect
all the coins you see. Jump over and you will see a set of miniature bridges
with coins abve them. Be careful and jump across, collecting the coins on
your way and descend the blocks onto the tree.
Now, just climb up the blocks to end this level.

As the level begins, head right and you will see a fireball going up and
down, dodge it and jump over the to the platform and once again to the next
platform and hit the block to collect the item there. Jump down to the
platform below you and dodge another fireball to get to solid ground.
Now, either go forward through the upper or lower platforms(I'd suggest
taking the lower one), both have fire chains swinging in a circle.
Dodge these whilst moving forward. Jump to the wall above and get on the
moving platforms. Jump to next one and over the fire chain to solid ground
right of you. You will now see Browser's flames, so duck whenever it
approaches you.
Jump over the platforms and collect the six coins here. Now, you will have
to jump over the lava and keep heading forward to reach the bridge to face
Browser.

| This battle is exactly the same as the previous Browser battle except |
| that there's a solid wall above you on the left side of the bridge which |
| will not permit you to jump over him that easily. Avoid his flames and |

| jump over him and hit the lever which will finish the battle. You can |
| also destroy him by pumping out five fireballs on him. Either way, Mario |
| will save Toad again and destroy the castle. |

As you start, the first thing you will notice about this level is that its
night time. But, it doesn't make a difference actually. Anyway, head forward
to encounter a Koopa Paratroopa . Dispose of it and collect the coins and
the item of the three coin blocks. Head further to encounter another Koopa
Paratroopa. Kill it and break all the bricks before jumping across the pipe.
Press down on the next pipe to take you to the underground.
Here, break the leftmost bricks and jump up to the brick holding the coin.
From here, hit the brick above and it will give out an item. Now, just
collect all the coins and head out through the pipe.
Once you are out, climb up the blocks to encounter three Goombas on a
bridge. Kill them and head further right. Jump over to the wall and you will
see two more Goombas below you. Before that, hit the brick above you and it
will give out a star. Get that and just rampage your way through the map.
Over the pipe, you will see two Hammer brothers. If you have got the star,
you can just run through them. Its a bit tough without the star as they
through hammers at you. Anyway, after both are dead, get the item from the
coin block on the right side of the top section of blocks and break all the
others.
You will see a spring now, use it to jump to the bricks and across. You will
see two Goombas descending the blocks. Kill them and climb up to see two
Koppas and three more Goombas.You will also see a Koopa Paratroopa . Kill
it, hit all the blocks and get the item before climbing up the big set of
blocks to end the level. You will also encounter two Koopas descending from
the blocks. Jump on the flag after killing both of them.

Another night level. Head forward and kill the Koopa that appears, before
taking care of the three Goombas that appear. Head forward to find three
more Koopas with two more at the end.
NOTE:- There is a trick to get a lot of points continuously. As the first
Koopa appears, stun him with your feet and push him forward. Run
along with the shell as it kills all the enemies that pass. Be sure
to jump at the end, as the shell deflects back.
Cross the wall and take the three coins before getting the item on top of
the wall next to you. Drop down to see two Goombas with a Koopa. Head
further to see a Koopa sandwiched between two walls. Kill it without getting
caught in the deflection and get the star on the second brick above. Once,
you have gotten that, just run through the area killing all the Koopas and
Goombas as they appear. Jump over to the next platform and keep running
forward.
As it wears off, collect the coins above the pipe and kill the Koopa and the
two Goombas and head for the blocks to complete the level.

As the level starts head forward and jump over to the tree and kill the
Goomba that drops from the next tree. Jump onto the next one and get on the
moving platforms. Collect the two coins on a lower ledge and jump back onto
the lower platform. Collect the three coins as you jump onto the next tree.
There will be a Red Koopa on the tree above you as well as one below you.
Kill them both and collect the coins on the upper ledge as well as on the
lower ledge and jump onto the platform from the upper ledge.
This platform falls so don't stay on it for long. Then jump on the balance
platforms and onto the other platforms which will take you to two trees with
coins on them. After that, jump on the Koopa Paratroopa and head to the next
tree with another Red Koopa. After you have killed it, jump onto another
balance platforms and jump on the left one. The left one will slowly go down
as the right one goes up. When the left one is at the lowest, jump onto the
right one and run right and jump as far as you can. If you did it right, you
will have got the flag which ends the level.
If you have jumped far enough, then you will have hit the highest point
which will get you the maximum points.

As the level starts, head right and you will see a fireball moving up and
down next to a platform with a fire chain. Time your jump when the fireball

Further right and you will see two back to bac fire chains swinging. Jump
over them and jump across the platforms with fireballs to see Browser's
flames.
Keep heading right to see the bridge and meet Browser.

Head forward to encounter a plant popping out of a pipe. Jump over it and
take the item in the bottom block and hit the upper block for a coin. You
will now encounter a Lakitu who keeps dropping Spiney's. You can avoid
him, or jump on him from the upper block. But, be careful to avoid the
Spiney's at all costs. Unless, you are Fiery Mario, don't jump on them.
Jump over and collect the four coins and keep heading forward. Hit all the
four blocks and jump over climb up on the horizontal row of blocks and hit
the block above for a 1 UP Mushroom. Hit the other blocks and head forward.
Jump over the wall and collect the four coins and another Lakitu will
appear, dodge the Spineys he drops and jump over the pipe and collect the
four coins, before jumping over another pipe to collect four more coins.
If you want to go by the underground passage, jump onto the second pipe
after the wall and go in it. Here collect all the coins and the item in the
brick above the pipe before exiting.
If you want to take the normal way, then move forward hitting all the coin
blocks and be sure to collect the item as it appears.
Either way, you will be at a pipe, jump over it and again over to the short
platform and the next. Jump over the wall to encounter another Lakitu.
Dodge him and climb up the blocks to complete this level.
NOTE:- There's a brick right next to the flag that will give you some coins.
Jump down, collect the coins from it and jump back up to the blocks
and long jump to the flag.

Again, you will see Mario go through a pipe into the underground.
Once the level starts, head forward and carefully jump over the short
platforms to the high brick structure and head forward. There is an item in
the right most brick inside the cramped area below you. Get it and also get
the three coins there.
Jump back up and head forward to encounter three Goombas. Kill them and
start breaking the bricks above you from the left side for a series of coins
in one brick nead the left side of the bricks above you.
Head forward and hit all the blocks and one of them should contain an item.
Collect it and jump onto the platform and quickly hit the leftmost brick,
right of you for a vine you can climb to reach Portals for World 6, 7 and 8.
Climb on the vine and collect all the coins which are there on huge
Mushrooms and get up the block wall to reach the portals.
If you want to go by the normal way, jump on the platform and jump and
collect the four coins. Jump over the plant to encounter a Goomba patrolling
back and forth on a very short gap. Theres also a brick which gives you some
coins below, but unless you are Fiery Mario, I suggest that you just avoid
it, as the deflection could kill you.
Anyway, jump over the pipe and you will face a Buzzy beetle, which is also
patrolling over a very short are. But, the right brick below you also
contains a star, so if you are quick enough get it and start sprinting your
way through.
But, since its very hard to get it without loosing a life. Just jump over
the next two pipes. If you duck under the pipe next to the Buzzy beetle,
then you will go to the deeper underground. Here, collect all the coins as
well as the brick with many coins above the pipe before exiting it.
If you prefer to go by the normal way, then, head forward to encounter two
Green Koopas. Kill them and jump over the plant and onto the block wall.
Now, jump on one of the bars and onto the bricks. Here, hit the centre brick
of the middle section to get an item. Then, head forward to encounter
another Green Koopa. Kill it and jump over the two pipes and onto the next
platform to face a Ram descending the stairs.
Then, jump on the lower bar and onto the right to face two more Green
Koopas. Hit the leftmost brick to make an item pop out before collecting all
the other coins on the bricks. If you have enough time, then, break all the
bricks too.
Theres also a way to reach another Portal to World 5. Jump forward onto the
tall pipe and break the bricks above you. Then jump onto the ceiling and
head forward to reach the portal.
Otherwise, just enter the pipe next of the tall pipe and you will reach the
surface. Climb up the blocks to complete this level.

This level is located high up in the sky, on giant Mushrooms.
As you begin, jump to the giant Mushroom and onto the next one to face two
Red Koopas. Kill them and collect all the coins here and on the giant
Mushroom left of you.
Now, jump onto the high ledge right of you. Then jump onto the Koopa
paratroopa. Also, don't forget to hit the Koopa on the lower ledge to the
right. Collect the two coins and jump to the upper one and hit the block to
collect the item.
Now, jump onto the balance platforms to move to the next one. You will now
encounter two platforms moving up and down. Jump on the first one as it
takes you up and jump on the other as it goes up and jump onto the giant
Mushroom next to you.
Now, collect all the coins on the Mushrooms above and below you and head
forward to face a Red Koopa. Kill it and you will encounter three sets of
back to back balance platforms. Strategically jump on each and as it goes
down, jump on the other one.
You will now get to a giant Mushroom full of coins on it. Collect all and
jump to the next ones untill you reach an Iron bar which fall down as you
get on it. Jump on this and immediately run and long jump towards the flag
to complete this level.

This level is very tricky, so pay attention.
As you begin, head forward and jump over the lava and you will see two ways
to take, the bottom way and the uuper way. Go through the upper way and keep
moving forward. Just sprint over the tiny platforms and avoid the fire chain
and keep moving forward.
Once you are at the end of the area, fall down and leap across the platforms
floating in the air to get to safe ground.
This time, you will need to take the bottom route. Once you are at the
bottom, then keep moving forward for a while and you will see Browser's
flames.
The route to take is:
1. Upper Route
2. Bottom route.
If you do not take this route, then you will be going in circles back to the
start of route 1.
Keep moving forward to meet Browser at the bridge.

As the level begins, move forward and you will encounter a Green Koopa and

NOTE:- You can use the trick that you used in World 3-2. Just jump onto the
first Koopa that appears and push it forward and follow it as it
kills all the other enemies before it deflects back the pipr ahead.
Jump over the pipe and onto the next one. You will now encounter a Green
Koopa Paratroopa followed by three Goombas. Get all of them to face three
more Goombas up ahead and another Green Koopa Paratroopa at the end.
After all of them are dead, jump onto the block wall and hit the middle
brick above you to make a star pop out of it.
With the star equipped, jump down and rampage through the area, killing all
the Goombas that appear.
Jump onto the cannon and over the wall to encounter three more Goombas ahead
of a Green Koopa. The star's effect must not have yet worn out, so you can
kill these enemies as well as three more Goombas followed by two Green
Koopas that appear just ahead.
Jump over the bricks and onto the pipe floating in the air to take you to
the underground. One important point to note is, as you enter the pipe,
press the right button and hold it. If done right, you will be inside a
brick structure full of coins. If not done right, you will fall to the
bottom of the underground. Don't forget to collect the block with many
coins above the pipe before leaving.
If you much rather to take the normal route, then head forward after
collecting the I UP hidden in the left most brick, left of the floating
pipe.
Jump over another cannon and also over the pipe to face yet another cannnon.
After that, you will see two Green Koopa Paratroopa descending a block
staircase. Kill them andclimb this and jump onto the floating block
structure floating in mid air. Once on the structure, long jump towards the
flag to complete this level.

As the level starts, head forward and climb up the blocks and jump over the
cannon and collect the three coins in the air. Below you, you will see a
Green Koopa. Kill it and jump onto the spring and jump high onto the bricks
left of you.
Hit all the bricks in the upper section and collect the item that appears
on the right most brick.
As you move forward, you will encounter a Green Koopa Paratroopa ahead of
one of the Hammer Brothers waiting on the top of a block staircase.
Kill it and move forward. The pipe ahead will take you down to a short
water area.
When it the water, swim forward over the purple Sea anemone to encounter a
Bloober. If you are Fiery Mario, them pump out fireballs and he will die.
Head forward and collect the row of coins nead the surface, but watch out
for a fish as it appears. Keep swimming and head to the surface and start
swimming forward. After dodging the fishes and a Bloober that appears, get
the coins on both the platforms before leaving out throguh the pipe.
If you want to take the land route, jump over the pipe to see two Goombas
descending down a stair. Kill them and jump over to the next set of blocks
to encounter another one of the Hammer Brothers standing on top of coin
blocks.
Simply hit the block which he is under and he will die. Collect all the coin
blocks and also jump to the air two spaces from the left most coin block and
you will hit another hidden coin block.
Collect the two coins on the ground next to you and hit the left most brick
in the upper section of bricks just above you and a vine will pop out.
The same strategy goes here too, get on the moving platform and try to
collect as many as coins as you can.
If you did not go up the vine, then you will encounter a Green Koopa
Paratroopa near a cannon. Kill it and head forward to encounter the Hammer
Brothers, each situated on one section of the bricks.
Just hit the brick that they are standing under and they will die. Before
leaving, hit the right most brick in the top section of bricks and a star
will pop out.
Get the star and jump over the wall. Kill the three Buzzy Beetles as they
appear. There are two bricks situated very close to the ground. Only the
Normal Mario is short enough to get the item and the coins hidden in these
two bricks.
Jump over to the row of bricks floating and over to the next to encounter a
Red Koopa. Kill it and head down to see two Goombas and two Green Koopa
Paratroopas. Kill all of them and collect the item in the brick next to you.
Jump over to the pipe and try to get the two coins situated above you. Be
careful no to fall off the piep and jump to the next area. Kill the Green
Koopa Paratroopa as it descendes the broken block staircase.
Once you have done that, jump carefully onto each section of the broken
staircase and over to the pole to complete this level.

This level is very similar to World 1-3.
Anyway, as you begin, head forward and jump onto the tree and over to the
next. be careful to avoid the Bullets. Jump on them whenvenr possibe.
Jump over to the tree above you and kill the Red Koopa that is patrolling
this area. Collect the three coins and jump over to the ledge below to get
another coin.
After that, jump onto the next tree and over to the one above and you will
face two Goombas. Kill them and collect the two coins that are in the air,
just left of you.
Head forward and fall down and collect the two coins in the air while
falling down. Jump onto the iron bar as it moves down and over to the tree
next to you.
Collect the item which pops out of the block here.
Jump back onto the moving platform, as it takes you high, jump over to the
tree next to you and colelct the three coins.
After you ahve done that, jump over to the next two ledges to encounter a
Red Koopa Paratroopa. You will need to jump on him while he is quite high up
in the air (preferrably right next to the tree) to land safely on the next
tree. You will also face a Goomba on the next tree.
You will now face iron bars which move left and right. Jump on the iron bar
next to you, as it takes you right, jump onto the next one and over to the
tree. Don't forget to collect all the coins on the way.
Jump onto the tree above you to encounter a Red Koopa. Kill it and you will
face a Red Paratroopa patrolling up and down in the air.
Kill it and fall down, on to the ledge below for three coins.
Get back up to the ledge next to you and jump over to the next one
collecting the two coins on the way.
Long jump onto the iron bar and over to the block staircase to complete this
level. There is also a Red Koopa on the ground left of the blocks. Kill it
and jump back up.

As the level starts, begin by moving forward and jump over to the platform.
Wait until the the fire chain is moving in the other direction before
jumping across and over to solid ground.
NOTE:- This fire chain is much longer than the ones you have faced so far.
Hitting the block and standing on top of it won't save you this time.
Now you will see two routes to take. Take whichever you want and carefully
move forward, avoiding the fire chains. As the fire chain has passed into
the ground, start sprinting as fast as you can till the end.
Jump up onto the wall and over to the moving platforms. Jump onto the next
moving platform and over to solid ground.
You will now start to see Browser's flames.
Fall down and collect the coins near the fire chain before leaving.
NOTE:- You can't collect the coin under the block with the fire chain unless
you are Normal Mario.
Jump over the thin platforms avoiding Browser's flames as well as the
fireballs that pop out of the lava below you.
Head forward to meet Browser at the Bridge.

As the level begins, head forward and hit the two coin blocks. Jump over to
encounter a Lakitu, dropping Spineys. Avoid them carefully and climb up the
blocks.
At the end of the blocks, hit the left brick to get an item popped out of it
and continue moving forward.
Jump down and hit the right most brick to get some coins popped out of it.
Keep heading forward for a while and jump over and collect the three coins
floating in the air.
Climb up the short block stairs and jump over to the next area, collecting
the two coins floating in mid-air.
Again climg up a bigger block staircase and jump over to the bricks and on
solid ground.
Jump to the platform right next to the staircase and jump to the air right
next to the stair and a hidden I UP will pop out.
Keep heading right and another Lakitu, who is dropping Spineys will appear.
Dodge them and head forward and jump over the pipe and collect the three
coins floating in mid-air.
Just right of the three coins , you will see a small, dark green colored
hill in the background. Jump to the air, exactly at the point where the hill
is and a coin block will pop up. Collect it and jump on top of it and again
just jump into the air and another coin block will pop up.
After you have gotten that, head forward and climb up the block steps and
fall down onto the bricks below. Hit the left block to get an item.
Head forward and climb up yet another block staircase and jump over to the
bricks below. In the right brick of the middle section of bricks, many coins
are hidden. You can only get them if you are Normal Mario.
Anyway, head forward to encounter another Lakitu, who is dropping Spineys w
which are descending down the block staircase. Dodge them and jump onto the
long block wall and over to the pole to end this level.

As the level begins, head forward and hit the two bricks up ahead. Jump over
the pipe and get the Koopa here, but careful not to get caught in the
delfection.
If you are Fiery Mario, then you can collect the hidden coin block, right
between bothe the pipes, after disposing the Koopa.
There is also a coin block in the middle of the bricks above you.
After that, jump over the pipe, and over to the next two as a Green Koopa
Paratroopa appears. Kill it and jump over to the next pipe to see a Buzzy
Beetle patrolling below you. You can go to the underwater area, if you
descend down the pipe right of where you fought the Buzzy Beetle.
In the underwater, its the exact same as World 5-2 (The exact same). But
anyway, swim forward over the purple Sea anemone to encounter a Bloober
If you are Fiery Mario, them pump out fireballs and he will die. Head
forward and collect the row of coins nead the surface, but watch out for a
fish as it appears. Keep swimming and head to the surface and start swimming
forward. After dodging the fishes and a Bloober that appears, get the coins
on both the platforms before leaving out throguh the pipe.
If you'd prefer to take the land route, then keep heading forward. There is
an item hidden in the right brick below you. So, kill the Buzzy Beetle first
before getting the item.
Jump over to the pipe and over to row of bricks to encounter a single
Goomba. Kill it and jump over the next two pipes and hit the right most
brick at the row of bricks above and a vine will appear.
This area is exactly the same as before, except that, there will be some
small, face like blocks up above, which allow you to get some coins which
you can't collect whilst on the moving platform.
If you took the plain route, then jump over the long pipe to face another
Buzzy Beetle. Kill it and jump over the next few pipes and onto the pipe in
mid-air to face another Buzzy Beetle on a row of bricks.
Kill it and jump over to the next area with two more pipes. There is a star
located in the left most brick in the left side of the top sectin of bricks.
So, get that and start sprinting your way through, across the pipe to face
a Buzzy Beetle and a Gooomba. The pipe you just jumped across also leads to
an underground area.
Collect all the coins and also the item that is hidden in the brick above
the pipe before getting out.
If you ahve taken the normal way, then, you might still have the star, so
jump across all the pipes and over to the block staircase to see a Green
Koopa Paratroopa descending from it.
After you have disposed of the Koopa Paratroopa, then long jump over to the
Pole to complete this level.

This is a special level inded, as, apart from some occasional Bullets, you
will no encounter even a single enemy in this one. All you have to do is
jump.
As the level begins, head forward and jump onto the tree, next to you. Now,
jump over to the one above and to the moving platform. Collect the two coins
above you before jumping on the next tree.
Now, fall down, onto the spring and use it to jump up high in the air to get
on the moving platforms, which are high above you. Collect all the coins
here, before jumping onto the next two ones and collecting the item which
will pop out of the block in the air.
Jump onto the next tree and over to the balance platforms. Strategically,
jump onto the next one before the ine you are standing falls off.
Jump onto the ledge above you for three coins. Now, fall down to the tree
below you and head right to encounter Bullets. Jump over and collect all the
coins you see here.
Jump over the tree to see another spring which will shoot you to another
moving platform. Once there, jump on the balance platforms right ahead.
Again, carefully jump onto the ledge next to you and collect the two coins
in between both the balance platforms.
Move ahead and jump onto the iron bars and quickly jump onto the next three
ones and over to the tall ledge collecting the coins on the way.
Catch the pole to complete this level.

As the level begins, head forward and jump over the lava to the next area.
Head forward and avoid the fire chain as well as the fireball and jump over
to the platform and hit the block and jump on to top of it.
NOTE:- This chain is not so long, so you can stay on top of the block as
long a you want to.
After you have collected the item, carefully jump over to the next platform.
Keep sprinting forward, avoiding the fire chains and get on the slightly
lower platform and keep moving. Jump over the fire chains here as they turn
around.
head forward and drop down to the lower area. There are hidden coin blocks
in this area, so get them all. The first one is exactly two spaces right of
the left side wall. The second one is two more spaces right of the first one
and the third one is again, two spaces right of the second one. The fourth,
fifth and sixth are just oabove each one, but just a little to the right.
Head forward and jump up to the higher area to meet Browser at the bridge.

| Pretty much the same battle, except that there is a fireball which keeps |
| popping up and down near to the left side of the bridge and Browser |
| starts throwing out hammers. Still, not too hard, once he throws his |
| hammers, run and jump over to the lever. Toad is rescued and the castle |
| is destroyed. |

As this level starts, move forward and jump over the cannon to encounter a
Green Koopa Paratroopa. Kill it and jump onto the cannon next to you and
hit the left most brick above you for an item.
Get the item and you will see a Bullet. Jump over the cannon to see another
Green Koopa Paratroopa. Kill it and hit all the coin blocks before heading
out.
Jump over this cannon to see another Green Koopa Paratroopa. Get this one
too, and jump over the cannon to face yet another Green Koopa Paratroopa.
Now, head forward and jump over the pipe to encounter the Hammer Brothers.
Just use the same strategy, hit the brick which they are under and they will
die.
Jump onto the pipe next to you and jump in the air, angling slightly left,
and you will make a 1 UP pop out.
You can also go into the underground with this pipe. Here, just collect all
the coins before heading out, through the pipe.
If you are taking the normal route, then avoid the Bullet which is fired out
of the cannon next to you and jump over the pipe to see a Green Koopa.
Kill it and keep heading forward, jumping over the Cannon and the pipe to
again meet the Hammer Brothers.
Get them before jumping over the wall and onto the bricks floating in mid
air. Hit the lone brick up above to get an item. Go up the block staircase
to encounter a Buzzy Beetle descending a bigger block staircase.
Kill it and catch the pole to complete this level.

This is another Underwater level. It is kinda tough, because there are many
enemies in this one, especially a lot of Bloobers. But the layout is the
same as in World 2-2.
Anyway, as the level begins, head forward, collect the two coins on the sea
bed and dodge the two Bloobers as they appear.
There are three coins near to the surface, get them and keep swimming
forward. Get the three coins on the sea bed over the long violet color plant
and the Bloober as it appears.
As you move forward, you will see two more Bloobers out to get you. Avoid
them and keep swimming forward.
As you go on, you will see three coins below you, get them, but, be careful
not to go to deep and drown.
Keep swimming forward and you will see three Fishes followed by two
Bloobers. Its the Bloobers you got to keep your eye on, but keep out of the
Fishe's way.
Keep swimming to encounter two more Fishes near the surface with two
Bloobers. Collect the three coins near the sea bed, but, avoid the Bloober
that comes in that way.
There are three more coins a little up ahead, so collect them and keep
swimming forward to see some more Fishes headed your way.
There are five coins a little below you, so collect them without drowning.
There are two more Fishes accompanied with a Bloober just up ahead. Quickly
swim to the surface and dodge the enemies.
Now, just below you are six coins, so get all of them, without drowning and
avoid all the fish comes your way.
Head forward to encounter some more fish with two Bloobers. Dodge all of
them and enter the pipe to get to the surface.
Once there, climb up the blocks to finish this level.

This level's layout is the same as to World 2-2, except that there are some
more enemies.
As you gain control, head forward and jump over the blocks and onto the
bridge.
Head forward, avoid as many as flying fishes as you can and collect the four
coins in the air and kill the Green Koopa that appears next to it.
Keep moving forward and you will encounter a Green Koopa Paratroopa next to
five coins. Kill it and collect the coins before jumping over to the next
platform.
Collect the four coins and kill the Red Koopa before getting over to the
next platform.
Again, there will be a Red Koopa here, kill it and jump over, collecting the
three coins in the air as you do so.
Hit the block on this platform for an item. Get it and jump over to the tree
below you collecting the three coins on the way. Kill the Red Koopa here and
jump onto the short platform next to you and over to the next area.
Now, collect all the coins above you and keep moving forward and kill the
Green Koopa Paratroopa that appears.
Head to the ledge below and collect the four coins here after killing the
Green Koopa Paratroopa that appears here.
Go back up and head forward. Now carefully go through the tiny bridges,
collecting all the coins on the way and once at the end, head forward and
jump over to the block staircase and over to the pole to complete this
level.

\ ------------------------\ 6.7.4 World 7-4 (WDSF036) |

This level is very, very tricky, so pay high attention.
As the level starts, move forward and quickly jump over the platforms and
onto solid ground.
There will now be two routes to take, right now, take the lower route and
keep moving forward.
You will now see a section of blocks just above you, jump on it and move
forward and jump on top of the block structure next to you.
While on top, keep moving forward, jump onto the fat wall a little below you
and from here, jump back up to the section of blocks floating in the air.
Now carefully move past the fire chain and when you get to another section
of blocks a little below you, then fall on it and keep moving forward.
At the end of the section, jump back up again, to the long section of
blocks above you to the right.
Keep moving forward to see Browser's flames and eventually Browser himself
at the bridge.
The route to take is:
1. Lower Route
2. Center Route
3. Upper Route
4. Upper Route (Past the Fire chain)
5. Center Route (Through the broken section of bricks)
6. Upper Route (Move forward to meet Browser)

| The same Browser you met in World 6-4 except that the annoying ceiling |
| is gone as well as the moving platform. Still, not too difficult, just |
| avoid his flames and his hammer and long jump over him and onto the |
| lever to end this batle. Toad is rescued and Mario crushes the castles. |

Welcome to the last and final World. You should note that this world has no
in game save poins. So, even if you die near to the end of the level, you
will start from the start.
As the level begins, head forward to meet a Buzzy Beetle followed by three
Goombas and three more at the rear. Push the Buzzy Beetle forward and start
running as it picks off all the Goombas. Just be sure to avoid the
deflection at the end.
Jump over the pipe and kill the two Green Koopas. Head across the broken
platforms,(you can just sprint) and kill the Koopa at the end. He will be
backed up by three more Goombas, so be sure to get them too.
Jump onto the pipe and you will see a Buzzy Beetle next below you. There is
a hidden 1 UP hidden in the air, in the air, between the two pipes. But,
there is also a Buzzy Beetle which can kill you, so be careful.
Jump over the next pipe and collect the lone coin in the aie, and over the
next one too. Head forward too see another pipe which you can use to go to
the underground.
Here all you have to do is collect all the coins you see as well as the
hidden coin block, right left of the pipe. After that head out through the
pipe.
If you didn't go through the underground you will be facing three Goombas
below the pipe. before that, collect the two coins high up in the air, just
left of the pipe.
Keep moving forward and jump over the pipe to meet a row of Green Koopas.
Get all of them and jump over the pipe. Kill the three Goombas and jump over
the wall to see a Green Koopa Paratroopa. Kill it and collect another hidden
coin block in the air, right in between of the two walls and another one in
between the section of bricks above you.
Jump over the wall to meet two more Green Koopa Paratropas. Kill them and
run over the broken platforms. Hit the third brick from left and a star will
pop out of it. Get it and start sprinting.
Head over the broken platforms to mmet two Green Koopas. Kill them and jump
over the short wall and over to the next area to encounter three more
Goombas. Kill them and carefully jump over the three pipes and onto solid
ground to meet a Buzzy Beetle and three Goombas followed by three more
Goombas and two more at the end.
If you have the star, you can net a lot of points this way.
Climb up the stairs and jump down to meet another Buzzy Beetle. Collect the
two coins while doing so. Kill the Buzzy Beetle and jump over the short
platform in the air next to you and over to the next area. Get the coins on
the way too.
Jump over the two short walls to see a Koopa patrolling between them. Now,
head forward and do a long jump from a short distance before the edge of the
area and you will fall on a very tiny platform. Quickly long jump again over
to the next area. This is very hard and will cost you a few lives. Try to
get the four coins on the way too.
Head forward to meet a Green Koopa followed by three more near a pipe. Get
all of them and jump over the pipe and over the next one and onto a broken
portion of the block staircase.
Carefully jump through all of them and long jump over to the pole to end
this level.

As the level begins, head forward and climb up the broken stairs to see two
Green Koopa Paratroopas descending it as well as a Lakitu dropping Spineys.
Avoid them, and once you reach the top of the blocks, try to kill the Lakitu
by jumping on it or by throwing a fireball so that it doesn't bother you any
more.
Fall down, hit the four coin blocks and jump over and onto the spring.
Once on the spring, try to hit the second brick from left in the long row of
bricks above you and a 1 UP will pop out. But you have to be quick, get off
the spring and start moving forward. Head across the broken platforms and
dodge the three Green Koopa Paratroopas that appear.
If you were quick enough, you can catch the 1 UP before it falls of the
ledge. Head forward and dodge the Bullet that appears.
Jump over the cannon to see two more Green Koopa Paratroopas. Kill both of
them and hit the right brick to get an item popped out of it.
Head forward, jump over the cannon to encounter a Buzzy Beetle. Jump over
the short cannon to see two more Bullets. Hit the right brick for a few
coins.
Jump over the cannon and ovee the pipe to see another Green Koopa
Paratroopa. Kill it before jumping over the platform and onto the pipe. Now,
carefull jump onto the tiny platform and long jump over to next area.
Now, jump onto the pipe next to you. You can descend this one and head into
the underground. As you are descending, hold down the right button as the
coins are located inside a brick structure situated in the air. Anyway, get
all the coins and also the coin block above the pipe before getting out.
I suggest you take the underground as it doesn't really make a difference as
the two pipes are right next to each other. Anyway, head forward and jump
over the pipe to encounter three more Green Koopa Paratroopas.
Jump onto the cannon and onto the next area to see two Goombas descending a
block staircase. Kill them and fall down near the cannon below you. Be
carefull in killing the Buzzy Beetle as you will get caught in the
deflection.
Head forward and start climbing the broken staircase and you will also see a
Green Koopa Paratroopa descending it. Kill it and climb all the way to the
top and long jump over to the pole to complete this level.

This level relies a lot on your killing skills as it has a lot of hard
enemies (especially the Hammer Brothers). So I pray that you are Fiery Mario
or atleast Super Mario.
Anyway, as the level starts, head forward and avoid the Bullet that is shot.
Jump over the cannon to meet a Green Koopa Paratroopa. Kill it and jump over
the cannon and over the pipe a little further away.
You will now encounter the Hammer Brothers at their usual spawn point. Use
whatever method you want and kill them and don't forget to hit the second
from left brick in the top section of bricks for an item.
Jump onto the blocks and over to the next area and avoid the Bullet. Jump
over the Cannon to meet anotehr Green Koopa Paratroopa. Get it and jump over
the wall and over the next as well to again meet the Hammer Brothers. This
time hit the second from right in the top section of bricks for an item
after killing the Hammer Brothers.
Jump onto the pipe and over to the next area to meet a Green Koopa followed
by a Hammer Brother, who is followed by another one of the Hammer Brothers.
If you are fiery Mario, you will have no problems with these enemies.
Jump over the pipe to encounter two more of the Hammer Brothers.
Hit the air, second from the right of the castle wall in the background and
you will get a few coins.
Now, carefully jump over the blocks and over to the pole for confronting
Browser for the last time.

Welcome to the final stage of the game. This is pretty much the most tricky
of them all.
As the level begins, head down and jump over the lava. Jump over this pipe
and keep moving forward.
head forward to see another pipe. Jump over this one too and kill the three
Goombas that appear.
Jump over the lava (you can use the platform near the lava) and over to the
next area. Now, you will see a pipe in frot of you. Go under this pipe.
As you ascend, head forward, jumping across all the pipes that you see. Just
ignore the two Buzzy Beetles, unless you are adament on getting points.
You will see two Green Koopa Paratroopas. I choose to ignore them. You will
see a pipe rested on two blocks in mid air. Get on it after jumping into the
air two spaces left from it for a hidden coin block. Descend it.
Now, jump up and head forward over the pipes. Avoid the flying fishes and
jump across the lava and onto the next pipr. Now, descend this one and it
will take you underwater.
Now, swim forward and avoid the fire chain in front of you (Yep, you will
see fire chains in water). Now kill the Bloober with a fireball which you
must have gotten from the last level and keep swimming forward. Avoid all
the fire chains you see and for God 's sake, please don't die. There will
be two Bloobers up ahead. Kill them and avoid the fire chain near you.
There will be another fire chain circling nead the exit. Just swim forward
as the fire chain goes past you. Be careful not to die.
As you come back to the surface, head forward and jump over the next pipe
to meet one of the Hammer Brothers. Kill it and jump across the lava to
meet Browser at the bridge.

| Your last Browser battle, so cherish every moment of it. Browser throws |
| out every weapon he has in his arsenal. Avoid the hammer and flames and |
| long jump over when he is on the ground and onto the lever. It would be |
| a lot, lot easier if you got him with the fireballs. Anyway, after you |
| kill him, Mario will rescue Princess Peach. |

Now, just sit back and relax, you have beaten the game. Well, not exactly
the whole game, just the story mode. There are a lot of additional things to
do.
