I would recomend restarting the game because this deletes all the Pokemon in your pc. First save infront of a pc.

Next resart the game and play until you catch another pokemon.

Go infront of a pc and put your starter in.Change to box 6 and while the game is saving turn it off.Turn it back on and you will have the starter in your pc.

Do this until you get all three.This cheat also works with silver and gold versions.
