Full Review for Forza Motorsport by gotmelons

Introduction

Forza motorsport is a collection of Project gotham arcade, Gran turismo career an Need for speed.
Basically you can race to unlock cars, race to win moey and win cars an buy them and you can tune up visually and enginely like Need for speed.

Graphics

Not bad considering a first release, the graphics are close to that of project gotham 2 and a good competitor to Gran turismo 4.
The graphics are smooth with shiny cars 3d enviroments with details extending to visual car damage and if you collide with a barrier or wall your paint will be etched onto the wall. Very realistic (i'm not being sarcastic)

Sound

In the game you can have custom soundtracks, the set sound track is good (slowrock and rock funk). The in game sounds are good e.g a muscle cars growls of a big v8 and a modern supercar screams like a ferrari. Each car in the game has it's unique sound.

Gameplay

The gameplay is awsome, in career your aim is to win every race and championship, unlock every car and buy them/win them. In arcade you aim is to unlock all the tracks and unlock the cars for future races. With good sound and graphics if Forza motorsport make a Forza motorsport 2 it will easily, how do you say wipe the floor with Pg2 and GT4

Lastability

This game is a playable one for a few months, and after you get bored with your other games you will fall back to Forza create a new profile and tear up the circuits for a year or two. In about a year this will be an xbox classic and with xbox live you can extend the game a few more years.

Overall

A good competitor for the landmark titles, this is an all round game but a lack of Formula 1 and rallying action has in my opinion downed it's rating but who knows by the next loveable forza is released they wil have more than 231 cars and more than 50 tracks.
