While many auto racing games feature a selection of fantasy Tracks mixed with real-world tracks, the Forza Series -- and FM5 specifically -- prides itself on providing the closest thing you can get to the real-world tracks featured in the game.
When the base game first released it did so with a comparitively small number of Tracks -- the reason for that was simple: at the time of release they only had sufficient up-to-date data to build just those tracks.
Rather than include what amounted to fabricated versions of other Tracks developer Turn 10 made a tough call and chose instead to release what they had with the promise of adding more tracks later. This met with mixed review by the Forza Faithful, but their patience is now paying off, first with the FREE release of the Road America Track - a very large one indeed -- followed by the release of the Long Beach Track (with added Achievements!) as of the time this was written.
Now, it is anyone's guess as to how many free Tracks will be added to the game and how many will be paid, but clearly Turn 10 is off to a good start here.
