Introduction

Hello, 7OneWingedAngel7 here, and I'm going to review Final Fantasy XII (12) for the PS2. Overall, it's a great game. I've had this game for almost 2 years, and I think I'm doing pretty well on it. I'm going to rate the Graphics, Sound, Gameplay, Lastability, and finally, I'm going to give an overall review. Then I'm going to state why I rated the specific section how I did.

Graphics

The graphics are amazing. Especially when I'm at the Tomb of Raithwall looking out of it. It looks like a CG cutscene. I rate the Graphics 8/10 because of mostly the CG cutscenes. They have very good graphics. Even the gameplay has good graphics. This game doesn't have the best graphics of Final Fantasy, but the graphics are still pretty good.

Sound

I rate the Sound 7/10 because I love Final Fantasy Music. Especially the Victory Fanfare. Simply amazing. It sounds like an Orchestra, bcause, it actually is! Even if Nobuo Uematsu didn't compose this music, it's still pretty good. Not as good as Nobuo, but still good.

Gameplay

I actually like this battle system better than most other Final Fantasies' because of the Gambits, which basically mean you can battle without touching the controller, if you use them right. The Gambits are a new addition to the Final Fantasy Series, and so are License Boards, which are used instead of classes, so you can basically have all classes at once- that is, if you have enough licence points. Also, the story is pretty cool as well. Some say it relates to Star Wars, etc., but it's still a good game, no matter what you compare it to, in my opinion. I rate the Gameplay 9/10.

Lastability

It's pretty much impossible to get everything in your first run-through of the game, unless you have help. Like most other Final Fantasies, this one has pretty good Lastability. I rate it 8/10. I mean, just look at all of the weapons, and the Rare Monsters, and the monsters/espers like Ultima and Omega Mark XII! It'll take a while to get EVERYTHING.

Overall

I rate the Overall score of the game 8/10. Overall, like I said, it's a great game. Not the best out of the Final Fantasy games, but in my book, it runs in the top 5. Possibly even in the top 3, in my opinion. All it needs is Sephiroth. Just kidding. But if the Battle System, etc. Was used in Final Fantasy VII, It'd probably be the best game ever, in my opinion.
