FIFA 21 Best Tips, Tricks and Cheats

Don't use up all your stamina

FIFA 21 is a fast paced game where your goal is to score as many points as possible by getting the ball to your goal. This involves a lot of running, so you may be tempted to use sprints often. Sprinting will indeed make you faster, but at the expense of stamina. Using too much stamina can make things bad for you in the long run.

Without stamina, you'll have tired players that will be harder to control. They'll have a hard time with picking a pass out as well. Not only that, but you will have a hard time with your power bar since it will move at a faster pace. Use sprinting in useful moments, but try to avoid activating it all the time.

How does Agile Dribbling work?

There have been a lot of different FIFA games throughout the years. Each installment provides you with new players that you can use for your team compositions, and there are also new techniques that are added along the way. One of the techniques that you need to learn is Agile Dribbling.

In order to do Agile Dribbling, you'll hold R1/RB when you have the ball. All players are capable of agile dribbling, but there are also players that have better stats for dribbling so you need to take that into account. If you have the ball, you'll get to keep it close to you while moving slower. After that, you'll get to move very fast which is good for trying to get past the defender so you can get a score.

What are Creative Runs?

Another technique that you will learn in FIFA 21 is doing Creative Runs. Since this is a game where you get to control different characters, you will need to have them all organized and work together efficiently. While your teammates run, you'll want to be able to have some control on where they're headed.

If you press L1/LB, you can move your right stick in order to maneuver the direction of your teammate. This is useful since you can have more control when passing the ball. You can also use this in order to make a pass, so use this during your game for more distance.

Use training mode to help improve your kicks

When kicking the ball, you'll need to time things right and adjust how strong you hit. Doing too much can yield unwanted results, this can be prevalent whenever you're doing free kicks.

You can practice them first before playing an actual match. Head to the training mode from the main menu and you can go to set pieces to start your practice. There's a lot of techniques and drills you can practice here so make sure to complete the challenges available for you.

Use your forward and winger's strengths

If you have forwards or wingers that are 6 feet and above, then you can use their strengths in terms of getting a goal. With their height and stats, you can use headers in the game so you can land goals easier. You might compare this to the previous FIFA 20 game where headers don't really do well for getting wins.

In FIFA 21 however, they're a viable option that you can use now. Just take note which player you pass the ball to since they might not have the stats to do headers well. As long as you have forwards and wingers that have the proper height, add headers to your arsenal of moves.

Try to win Squad Battles for easy coins

Squad Battles will help you earn coins easily since you can acquire coins for your wins. There are other modes in the game which involve battling other teams and they may be harder. If you want to take an easier approach, it's better for you to choose squad battles.

Games such as Division Rivals can be difficult at times since you aren't sure about your success rate. With Squad Battles, you can even do easier challenges and you'll still be able to get coins.

Try Squad Building Challenges in order to get coins

There are different players that are available for your team in FIFA 21. However, there will be some specific players that are not available from the beginning since you will need to purchase them using coins. One of the ways for you to acquire coins is to do the Squad Building Challenges.

Here, you have two options for squad building; basic and advanced. You'll be provided with tasks to complete such as exchanging squads with a specific number of leagues. You can acquire packs that you can open, which gives you a chance for good rewards.

How to use Chip Shots effectively

Chip shots can be done by pressing L1/LB + Circle/B. These may be difficult to land because there's only a specific way for you to be able to do them. However, if you're able to do a chip shot, you'll be able to show your skills against your opponent.

In order to do chip shots, you should be through on your goal, and your opponent will get their keeper to try and take the ball away from you. Perform the chip shot input and you'll be able to shoot the ball to the back of the net.

How to use Finesse Shots effectively

Finesse shots can be done by pressing R1/RB + Circle/B. It's quite a famous move especially in previous FIFA games since they have a lot of power in them. In Fifa 21 however, a bit of balance is added to them.

In order to do finesse shots, you need to think of your current position before doing them. If you're against a keeper and you'd want to hit past them then try the finesse shot. You can also use it if you're at the edge of the box and you will want to intercept wingers who've cut inside.

Read up on your team's stats

Team building is one of the interesting aspects that you do in FIFA 21. There can be players that have excellent stats and skills, but you'll also have players who have varying levels such as their weak foot. With this in mind, try to remember the stats of your players so you can use them in the correct situations.

There can be players who can't use skill moves, there can be ones who have good pace. You wouldn't want to use players in situations they are not good at handling with. Balancing the strengths and weaknesses of your team members can definitely help in completing successful matches.
