Fifa 09 is the sequel to Fifa 08 the year before. How will it stack up against Fifa 08 and all the other console versions. I will be critiquing the Graphics, Sound, Gameplay and Lastability. So sit back and enjoy the Fifa experience on the Wii. Let's get started.
The graphics are ok, but have some bad problems. The screen can be had to see at times, especially if you have just played another game with better graphics. This can be improved on, but the celebrations look very clean and cthe actual celebrations are varied well.
The commentary is solid, providing commentary on any number of events. But there is one major flaw. The commentators can sometimes say the wrong things. An example of this is 'This hasn't been Liverpool's half' when they are winning comfortably. The music in-game is catchy.
The gameplay is excellent, especially with Manager Mode. But, again, there is a big flaw. The game has a habit of freezing when you play, especially with the Wii Remote. This leaves you no choice but to turn the Wii off by the power switch. Apart from this, the Gameplay is great.
The lastability in Fifa 09 is excellent, as any good Fifa game should. Manager Mode goes for a maximum of 15 seasons and there is always Footii Party, Challenges and the Online modes to play if you get bored. Overall, this is the best area of the game.
Fifa 09 stacks up quite well. The Graphics and Sound are okay, and the Gameplay and Lastability are exceptional. The only problem are the errors. Besides this, Fifa 09 is a great game for any one who is into soccer and has got a Wii. It will certainly be a great choice of game.
