Yes, you can bring a companion for an expedition. Make sure to set your preferred Gun for Hire before starting the expedition since you can’t switch companions during an expedition. Since the later part of the expedition requires running and shooting, bring in companions like Gina, Hurk, Carmina, and Jerome to help you a lot. During the extraction sequence, you don’t need to wait for your companion; just board the chopper first and they’ll be conveniently teleported inside the chopper.
