Fantage is a game that is a virtual world. Even though it isn't the highest rated game, I enjoy it very much. Overall, this game satisfies my needs. I have recommended it to many of my friends, and I suggest you do the same. The graphics, sound, and "fun-ness" is great. One thing I find great is Fantage isn't money driven.
The visual graphics are very good. Everything is drawn pixel by pixel, making editing very fun and easy. I never receive a blurry screen. All text is large enough to read and pleasant to the eye. The game is very colorful, making it visually appealing to a younger audience.
Sound is one of the weak points of most games. The sound quality for Fantage is above average, but the sounds and background music isn't the best. Sound often lags in this game, making the game much slower. Fantage does do a good job of making a different music for each land area though.
Unlike some virtual worlds(Animal Jam in particular), Fantage is not money driven. Most things in this game can be completed by non-members. I find this especially good, since I try not to buy game memberships. The avatars do lag, if there are too many, but there isn't too much lag otherwise. There are lots of fun things to do, making this game very interesting. In addition, the game updates often.
This game is aimed for a younger audience, but I started playing later. Even being a teenager, this game still captures my eye. I find decorating my avatar and house gives me inspiration for my room and clothes. Once you get to be my age, the games suddenly become extremely easy though. I would recommend this game for 7-12 year old children.
Overall, I prefer this game over most. It is a very safe game for all ages and I like it very much. Even though sound is not the best, other factors, such as the graphics balance this out. In addition, you can always mute the sound too. Loading is always super speedy, even though you do get a little lag here and there.
