F1 22 Cheats, Tips Strategy

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why it is important that you learn the different tracks and why having the correct tires on your car can be crucial.

Learn the Tracks

The best way to learn the tracks in F1 22 is to use the Time Trial mode where you can race against the ghost of a player who has a better time than you on the track. It is important that you become familiar with the different tracks you are competing on as it will give you an advantage. Knowing corners and DSR activation points will maximize your racing potential.

Use the Right Tires

It is important that you make sure your car has the right tires, especially on a wet track where one mistake driving at breakneck speeds can lead to disaster. It is advised that you drive cautiously rather than recklessly and keep in mind that there are tradeoffs with the different tires you can use, there is no one best choice.

Get Faster

The driving behavior of the newly designed Formula One cars has changed, listed below are some things you need to take into consideration when compared to the previous years game if you want your car to go faster.

- Don't button-bash, you need to accelerate carefully (the cars are sensitive in F1 22).

- Don't use the driving aids. ABS and traction control make driving simpler, but they always slow you down.

- Switch off the racing line, it is not useful.

- Try out the five presets of car setups and adjust individual components to suit you.

Check Behind

Get into the habit of briefly looking behind you during a race as doing so will help determine your strategy. If you see there are cars gaining on your position you will need to drive tactically whereas if you are way out in front with no opponents near you can focus on yourself and the track.
