Introduction

Here I have writen a reveiw on by far still the best basketball game avalible. In this reveiw I will tell you how good certain area's of the game are and how I rate them out of 10. I hpoe you will enjoy this reveiw and it will persuede you to buy the game.

Graphics

For graphics I have put 9, the graphics are amazing, the faces of the players are very realistic and to add to that there is amazing crowd graphics. You can even see the rest of your team lying down beside the court and your coach cheering you on. The reason I have not given a ten is at half time the cheerleaders that come on really spoil the game as they are terrible graphics.

Sound

The sound of this game is also great. In the menu's there is a wide selection of music to choose from and you can even create your own music for the arena. In game there is exelent comentery from bill watson an nba legand, and added news reports from the locker room at half time. The crowd noise is very good as well but can quite often get to silent, there is also allways a crowd members voice above everybody else's to cheer your team on.

Gameplay

The game has got loads or different ways of passing, dribilling and scoring to keep you entertained. If you are gettin fustrated by the ocasinall scoring violation or reaching in foul you can simply go to the options and change the rule's to suit your taste's

Lastability

This game will last you a very long timeas there is loads of different mode's you can do from the nba season mode where you can take charge of a nba team or select your own fantasy roster and make up your own team, if you don't want to play the matches you can go an manage the teams instead. There is also a 24/7 mode where you create your own caracter and build up his stats in the training game's in order to beat the international boss'es and eventully the nba phenom. You can also play quickmode and a range of different street games like half court 1 on 1 and full court.

Overall

Overall I think this game is worthy of a ten out of ten even though I does have a few small things whitch let it down. This is by far the best basketball game avallibly and I would highly recomend it above the newer nba 2k6 and the soon to be released 2k7. Thank you for reading my reveiw on espn nba 2k5
