Who is the Best Hero?

Epic 7 features a selection of different Heroes to choose from each with their own unique abilities. Below is what we think are the best ones based on their category and also their tier.

Remember though that some heroes may be great if you want to clear the storyline but not so good for the Abyss feature, therefore it is advised that you focus on getting characters that have average overal competance in all the features. The answer then to the initial question is that there is no one best overall character.

Best Conquest Character (PvE)

Although you will not be dealing with opponents who are difficult to defeat there will be occassions when stronger bosses make an appearance and you will need a source of constant DPS to deal with them quickly.

Tier 1

Sez

Sez is a thief who is a very high damage dealer with good burst damage and also AoE damage.

Element: Ice

Skills: Dark Shadow, Encroach, Death Sentence

Hero Speciality: Ridiculous Answer

You may want to also consider Armin and Cecilia.

Tier 2

Iseria

Isera is a Ranger who has good damage. She also debuffs enemies.

Element: Earth

Skills: Refined Flower, Oathkeeper, Full Bloom

Hero Speciality: Unknown Call

You may want to also consider Elson and Armin.

Tier 3

Charlotte

Charlotte is a Knight that who has decent AoE damage and lots of CC.

Element: Fire

Skills: Dual Swords, Ground Slam, Vortex

Hero Speciality: In the Shadow of the Crown

You may want to also consider Purrgis and Cidd.

Best Arena Characters (PvP)

The best heroes in this category are those that have abilities to do AoE damage and bust damage as your opponents will usually be able to heal and buff themselves more than monsters in PvE. The ability to dodge attacks and debuff the enemies is also key here.

Tier 1

Destina

Destina is a Soul Weaver that heals and cleanses debuffs, she also has great sustain.

Element: Earth

Skills: Destina's Grace, Regen, Key to an Oath

Hero Speciality: Path of Light

You may want to also consider Martial Artist Ken and Armin.

Tier 2

Clarissa

Clarissa is a Warrior who is a decent damage dealer. She also has high DPS.

Element: Water

Skills: Harsh Lesson, Rage, Hysteric

Hero Speciality: Enforcer

You may want to also consider Ravi and Cidd.

Tier 3

Yuna

Yuna is a Ranger that does AoE damage. She also buffs the allies.

Element: Ice

Skills: Homing Laser, Meteor Cannon

Hero Speciality: Lovely Machinery

You may want to also consider Achates and Lots.

Best Abyss Characters (PvE)

In this feature you will have to fight monsters whose difficulty will increase with each level so you are going to need sustain, damage mitigation and damage dealing heroes.
