Elebits, a great game from Konami, delivers exactly what it promised: zapping cute, little pikmin-ish creatures in a complex game of hide-and-seek. In this game you play as Tai, a ten-year-old who hates elebits. His parents research them, and he feels that they love elebits more than him. When the power goes out one day, he decides to take his dad's capture gun, and restore electricity to the house.
This game's graphics couldn't be any better! It's so very lifelike, you'll be enthralled by it's amazing environments. From computers to cans, from drawers to desks, everything in this game seems so realistic. This game's graphics are the best I've seen from any console for a long time. (That does not include Twilight princess :P)
Fast and upbeat, or cool and jazzy, Elebits' soundtrack has it all! The music perfectly fits each and every level, and you can choose what music from what level you want to use before starting a mission. There are plenty of levels, meaning there are plenty of songs, so you'll have lots of fun listening to it's music!
Elebits' gameplay is quite amazing. It's more than just hide and seek, by capturing more elebits, you can open doors and use appliances, and make a HUGE mess! The only downside: sometimes you have limits to how much noise you can make or how many objects you can break, lowering the fun factor.
Hide and seek, what fun! What's even more fun? Hide and seek with two seekers, and hundreds of hiders. Two player mode is so much fun, because you and your opponent have to see who can find the most elebits- fun, huh?
What also adds to the replay value is the level creator. Is you get a B or higher on a level, you can edit the level, adding or removing furniture and elebits. What's better? Sending these levels to friends over wi-fi! Hooray!
Elebits is a fun game that delivers what it promises. It also is great fun with bonus features that include the level creator, the elebit room, and the theatre, where you can watch elebit-related videos (one which includes an elebit music video). Elebits is a fun game, and I highly recommend that you buy it.
