Full Review for Dynasty Warriors 3 by Jawa2121

Introduction

Welcome to the new and improved Dynasty Warriors here. D W 3 offers players more characters, a weapon upgrading system, more levels, unique items to equip, and a data base to give players an in-depth history behind the characters and the three kingdoms.

Graphics

A definate difference from it's previous version, D W 3 offers players better graphics in gameplay, and in the cutscenes / opening scene. During gameplay the troops and sub generals are better designed making each of them unique. The game menu is unique and well designed.

Sound

Again they chose to use the radical techno for the main them song and the different stages tracks. However to make a mix the threw in a electric guitar spin on it. Not only did they improve the music but now you can hear your commanders talk in english or japanese.

Gameplay

Same as before, only added more twists with having an item and weapon upgrades to improve your characters. Another spin they added was you having to find your health and musou upgrades, as if that wasn't enough they have split the two and have placed them on all maps.

Lastability

Definately will outlast in gameplay better than D W 2, plus if you play with a friend you can literally play this game for hours on end. Plus with each character you actually have more of a strategic role thus making the game more challenging and not as repeatitive as it was before.

Overall

Overall this game is awesome. It wasn't only the first game of the series I played, it was the reason I personally got stuck on the series. Plus it is one of a kind Hack N Slasher that everyone can enjoy. Even my dad sat down and played with me for hours.
