Question for Shenmue 2

I知 having problems loading up disc two. I remember reading on net there was some way how to do it but I have forgotten how. Do you guys how to do or could you point me in the right direction.

Did you switch off the games console before you took out disc 1? It doesn't tell you to but it is best to. Did you also make sure you saved it at the very end of the disc before you swapped to disc 2 as even if you save literally at your last opportunity at the end of disc 1 you still have to save after the scene of Ryo sleeping on the sofa. They are the only things I can think of.
