Introduction

Eighteen years after the first Drakengard was released, this game reveals large amounts of action and adventure. In this game you play as Nowe along with four other players, including Nowe's dragon, Legna. This game may be a lot better than the first Drakengard, but this game is also a lot harder... Be prepared for a game that could bring a lot of stress from dying a lot.

Graphics

The graphics are one thing about this game that is not very unique. I only have a Playstation Two, so the graphics are not enhanced like I here the Playstation Three can do. So the graphics, I thought, were good. Although I don't pay attention to the graphics. The only part of the graphics I don't like is the fact that sometimes, not all the time, but most of the time... You have to read the text boxes.

Sound

The sound in this game is reused on every weapon. Every attack or field you use or fight in uses the same sounds... This game is unique in a lot of ways, just not on sounds... I think that Square Enix needs to start working on this problem... It is the same for almost every game produced by Square Enix.

Gameplay

The gameplay is split between two different types of fighting(Ground attacks and Air attacks). The fights are fast the attacks move extremely quickly... If you don't pay attention to this you'll get lost in the fight of the 300 mosters surrounding you... You'll think that you are somewhere else then you will die because you think you are somewhere on the complete otherside of the screen from where you are. You also want to watch out for the camera angles/movements.

Lastability

The lastability of this game is on average is a month to a month and a half. It took me almost two months to finish this game on normal. I am not ready to try hard. If you do the game on hard, then you will probably be playing for one and a half months to two and a half months.

Overall

This game would be great if there is nothing new coming out for a while... A nice time breaker, this game is. The story line of this game along with most of the Square Enix games are very interesting. Some parts of this game is not the best, but the story line is awesome.
