Disney Illusion Island Cheats, Tips, Strategy

Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy arrive on Monoth Island, expecting a picnic. They discover a giant bookshelf and meet Toku, leader of the Hokuns creatures, who admits to inviting them for a fake picnic. Toku seeks their help to recover three stolen Tomes of Knowledge that protect the island. Aspiring to become heroes, Mickey and his friends accept the mission. The following cheats and tips will help you to progress in the game.

  • Choosing a Character
  • All the characters in Disney Illusion Island function identically. The animations and sound effects for each character are different and can passively impact your experience. This means you need to make sure you choose a character that suits your playstyle.

  • Hidden Walls
  • Make sure you stay on the beaten path and don't get tempted into venturing into unexplored areas of the map until late in the game. The reason for this is you will hit dead ends because you have not yet unlocked certain abilities. Keep in mind that late in the game you unlock a fast-travel option which will allow you return to previous areas and track down anything you are missing.

  • Collect Glimt
  • Glimt in Disney Illusion Island is a collectible and the main currency of the game. Glimt comes in groups of three and looks like blue-white will-o'-the-wisps. It is important that you collect Glimt as they allow you to unlock panels in the Glimts Rewards section of Collections. Whenever you reveal a six-panel image you will be granted an extra heart, permanently increasing your health stores.

  • Glide Can Slow Your Descent
  • It is essential that you slow your decent when falling in order to avoid falling into any holes which are likely to have spikes in them. Activating glide whenever you are airborne will slow your decent and allow you to get your bearings.

  • Use Jet Streams and Glide to Rise Higher
  • The glide ability can also be used to catch the wind on the upward jet streams that are found throughout the island of Monoth. Their size vary, but in every case, the upward boost they give you lingers even after you exit the stream. Take advantage of this boost to reach higher places or sail over obstacles to reach far-away platforms.
