Destruction AllStars Cheats and Tips

Use the following trick when the round starts in order to get to a vehicle before any of the other players. If you do a quick roll the instant you spawn in the arena you will get a burst of speed that will more often than not be enough to win you the dash to get a vehicle before other players who have spawned near you. Remember to take note of what kind of type of vehicle you are driving and adjust your strategy accordingly.

Make sure that you pay attention to the condition of your vehicle and ditch it if it gets badly damaged. Whenever you are in a vehicle that is low on health it's bar will turn red and the R2 trigger on your PlayStation controller (the one you used to accelerate) will begin to vibrate. When this happens it is crucial that you start looking around for another vehicle to hop into otherwise you run the risk of being taken out.

The main way you can earn points in this game is by wrecking opponents and in particular destroying a vehicle while a driver is inside which is why it is crucial to dispose of badly damaged vehicles and look for ones that are capable of taking hits.

Whenever you dispose of a damage vehicle and are on foot searching for a new one you should keep an eye out for red Shards. You can pick up these red Shards and they will help you to fill your character's Breaker meters faster which will then allow you to activate your most powerful abilities quicker. Although they are helpful it is not essential that you pick up these red Shards, only gather them when you can do so without putting yourself at risk. Red Shards tend to be found on top of raised platforms and along arena walls.

Most of the arenas will have highlighted circles on the floor which if you drive over while inside your vehicle nothing happens. However, if you are on foot, and you run over these circles they will raise from the ground and become circular barriers.

Therefore, make sure you use them to protect yourself whenever you are on foot and there are vehicles nearby looking to knock you down. If you are driving and one of these circular barriers appears you need to make sure you avoid slamming into it in order to prevent damaging your vehicle.

Joining an online match in Destruction AllStars will automatically place you in a party chat with other players. If for whatever reason you do not feel comfortable talking to strangers and would prefer not to listen to them communicating with each other you can do the following to ensure you enjoy your game without having to socialize. All you need to do while you are in the lobby waiting for a match to start is press the PS button on your PlayStation controller to bring up the Activity Cards. The first one will be the party chat for the match you are currently participating in, if you now press the Square button it will mute all chat. Note: This needs to be done each time you join a game.
