Balanced Weapons

When upgrading your weapons remember that the key is to have them balanced. Resist the temptation of just increasing the power because the weapon will be no use if it has poor aim or stability.

Best way to get a Lung or a Heart Shot

The easiest way to get a lung or a heart shot is to use Infrared, which you can do while scoped in on an animal with your rifle. Infrared reveal the heart, lungs, and brain of the animals in the hunt, allowing you to precisely target the vital organ you need.

Killing Deer

The easiest animals to kill are deer because typically they stand still and give you plenty of time to aim your shot. You must though kill them in one shot because once startled they become fast and flighty.

Killing Moose

You need to be prepared to defend yourself if you do not bring down a moose when you shoot it as they fight back.

Killing Sheep

The easiest way to vanquish sheep is to use a shotgun as they typicall stick together which means you can usually hit a couple with one shot.

Cheap Upgrades

Gold is the game's premium currency and you will find you will often be able to buy weapon upgrades for less with it than using the conventional currency.
