Cult of the Lamb Cheats, Tips Strategy

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why it is important that you explore each area thoroughly before moving on and how to get free gold and XP:

  • Explore Everywhere

Keep in mind that Cult of the Lamb is a rougelike game, so it is essential that you thoroughly explore each area before moving on. Make sure you do this a there is always the possibility of finding tarot cards, which give you temporary stat-boosting buffs for the duration of your run, a pedestal that boosts your attack in exchange for health, or even find a new weapon.

  • Smash Everything

Makes sure you smash everything laying in your path while exploring in Cult of the Lambs as doing enables you to earn lots of useful resources. Keep an eye out for crates and barrels as these tend to hold gold which you can use to craft recipes.

Other things to look out for are skeletons as these turn into bones which you can then sell or burn for certain rituals in exchange for useful cooldown abilities. Also, fire pits you come across can be smashed up to get some meat which is valuable for cooking.

  • How to Open New Regions

In Cult of the Lamb there are four different regions, these are Darkwood, Anura, Anchordeep, and Silk Cradle. Before you unlock a run that culminates in having to defeat the region's boss you will need to complete multiple runs.

To access the new region you will also need to meet the number of followers requirement. If you have unlocked a region and then your flock dips below the requisite, you won't be locked out, once a region has been unlocked it remains open.

  • Grow Camellia

It is important that you grow Camellia on your farm as whenever possible because once you are able to build a medical tent you will be able to give your acolytes better treatment than just bed rest by giving them Camellia flowers when they go there to be healed.

It usually takes 15 Camellia flowers for a heal. You can get Camellia seeds to plant on crusades, or purchase them from a worm vendor that appears just outside town.

  • Free Gold and XP

Make sure when you are not on a crusade that you remember to collect your free gold once a day (in-game time) by performing a sermon from the altar.

There are other actions you can perform each day, depending on the rituals you have unlocked that enable you to perform a tithe to earn two pieces of gold from each of your followers. You can also get extra devotion and free XP when you inspire to increase the individual level of your followers.

  • Dying

In most rogue-like games you will lose everything you have earned when you die and be forced to start the game again from scratch. In Cult of the Lambs you will retain 75% of the resources that you have earned over the course of a crusade.

However, there is always the possibility while exploring that you will stumble upon an upgrade that will allow you to keep everything you have found upon death. Keep in mind that this benefit will only last for one run.
