Full Review for Cricket 07 by hunter_007

Introduction

After a two year break. Ea sports finally has released the nex-gen cricket game. Now this is one hell of a game with many new features. At the start you are given a tutorial which says that you now fully control the batsman with the right analogue stick. A feature in no other cricket game.

Graphics

The graphics are extremely high and so is the AI of the players, which is now much quicker than the last one. The fielders have been quite improved in this field. But still there is the face similarity, which is very "not similar" of many players. So a 7 of 10 to graphics.

Sound

The sound is extreme. The Commentary is good and new owrds are spoken. When a batsman is bowled out there is a great soun of it. The sroke sound has also been well done. But still you can find many bugs in the commentaries which is still to be worked on.

Gameplay

The Gameplay as I told is smooth due to the new feature in it. The right anlouge feature gives you the complete control over shot and the front foot and back foot shot selection adds up to the challenge. Another feature is the power of the shot that if it has to be slow or powerful.

Lastability

This game has the twenty-20 cup, and other australian and enland county leagues. Ofcourse it has all the basic test matches and oneday matches plus the world cup 2007 schedule. Another new and unique tournament is the ashes cup in which you have to complete scenario's to help the controlled country win.

Overall

So............ The the tempting sound, the extreme gameplay with the new features, the new scenario mode and the coming world cup schedule add up to you are cricekt fascination and I highly recommend this game. To give you a surprise, the in-game speed is for the frst tiem very fast. Just ry and play Brett lee's or Shoaid Akhtar's 99 mph bowl!!!
