Doctor Neo Cortex begins stealing power gems to activate portals to different locations around the world and time, so that he, and his lackeys including ant drones, crabs, Araknids and Lab Assistants mutated with nitro, frost, inferno and oxide mutagen and others, can dominate the world and multiverse. With the help of his sister Coco, Crash must defeat them with a serum, bomb, raygun or bazooka, retrieve the gems and return peace to the world and multiverse. Save your Crystals
The premium currency in Crash Bandicoot: On the Run is crystals, and they are not easy to come by. Although it is tempting to spend the crystals you earn in the shop on the different costumes on offer that gift you with various boosters it is far more beneficial to save them for something more important.
Collect Tiki Heads to Stay Alive
Tiki heads in Crash Bandicoot: On the Run represent your lives and if you get hit without having one it is the end of the game. Therefore, to avoid having to start the level again or watch some videos you should make a point of collecting the Tiki heads whenever you see them regardless if you already have got one equipped. Stacking the Tiki heads can give you complete invulnerability for a short time which is another reason to gather them.
