Multiplayer in Crackdown 3 is called Wrecking Zone and it pits teams of five against each other in fully destructable arenas that have been specifically built by the game developers to be torn down by players. Wrecking Zone consists of two maps called Blackout Zone and Nova Station, and two modes called Territories and Agent Hunter.

Agent Hunter

In this mode the standard Team Deathmatch rules apply with the added caveat that you have to collect your opponents' token after killing them to bank the point.

Territories

This mode is basically King of the Hill with multiple points, where two neutral zones must be captured by standing in them for a few seconds without enemies around. Each zone only has so many points to give, and once one is exhausted another spawns for capture.

Unlike the campaign that has a vast array of weapons available Wrecking Zone only has a total of 9 and you can only carry one firearm and one explosive at a given time. You do however get access to one of two gadgets: a deployable launch pad or an overshield, to take with you into combat. There is no character progress of any kind so regardless of which of the 21 agent skins you select you will find the movement and damage for each of them is effectively the same and never changes.
