• Unlock Additional Diagnostic Tools

  Make unlocking the additional, affordable diagnostic tools your priority as they will reveal defects in components that cannot be visually examined in Inspection mode. These are the Compression Tester, OBD Scanner, Tire Tread Tester, Fuel Pressure Test, andronic Multimeter.

• Check Everything Out in Sandbox Mode

  You may want to consider playing Sandbox mode if you are not interested in the challenge of earning everything by completing orders. In Sandbox mode there are no orders and all skills, objects in the garage, and locations on the map are already unlocked. You also have an infinite amount of credits to spend.

• Develop the Renovator Ability

  Make developing the Renovator ability a priority as doing so will allow you to repair new types of car parts. This skill will enable you to save credits as you will be able to refurbish broken parts removed from previous cars instead of buying new parts.

• Side Jobs

  Don't waste your time with side jobs unless you are in desperate need of credits. Most side jobs involve replacing a few parts or liquid replenishment and will earn you a small income and number of experience points.

• Find Broken Parts

  Always check out the car you are going to repair in the Inspection mode before you begin. If you do this you will immediately reveal many of the broken parts that need fixing. This will enable you to make up a list of the replacement parts necessary to complete the order. Also, each part tested in this mode adds 1 XP.

• Have WD-40 Handy

  The game will inevitably throw stuck bolts at you now and again. If you have some WD-40 handy to spray on them you will be able to immediately loosen them up instead of wasting time fighting with them.
