How to get the Best Weapons in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019

In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 it is vital that you have the best weapons possible to increase your chances of surviving the dangerous covert operations you will be taking on in the game. This How to get the Best Weapons guide will tell you everything you need to know about leveling them up and equipping attachments to improve your weapon's performance.

In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 you will earn XP every time you kill an opponent. This XP goes towards your rank and the weapon you used. Once you have reached a certain number of points your weapon will automatically level up unlocking new attachments and camouflage skins which you can use to alter the appearance of your weapon. It is possible to see what attachments unlock next for a weapon by selecting the 'Gunsmith' option under each weapon and then 'Weapon Level'. There is no other way to raise weapon level in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 other than by defeating your opponents.

There are several things you need to keep in mind when building a weapon. The most important is what its use will be. For example, if you want the weapon for stealth it is essential that you add the Suppressor attachment to it. Other things you need to take into account are its versatility, will the weapon be able to adapt to different situations, whether it be long-range, or close combat situations. Is it capable of dealing high damage by unloading bullets at a fast rate, and does it have high accuracy, or low recoil. You need to also remember that an attachment can have both a positive and negative effect on your weapon's performance so it is advised that you take the time to read the effects of each mod before attaching them to your weapon.

In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 there are six types of mods in the gunsmith - Optic, Laser, Muzzle, Underbarrel, Laser, Stock and Perk. When each of these mods are attached they will only alter the peformance of the weapon relating to that part. For example, adding an optic mod will only alter your aiming. Not all of the weapons will have 6 parts available to attach mods. Below is a list of all the attachments that are currently in the game.

If you are a beginner we recommend you start with an Assault Rifle as it is a fully automatic weapon that has handling that can be easily controlled. Assault Rifles are also versatile weapons that can be effective at longer ranges.

We recommend the M4A1 Assault Rifle, this S Tier weapon is fast firing and easy to control and will help you grasp the battle mechanics of the game. You can improve the perfomance of the M4A1 considerably by adding the Angled Foregrip, Operator Reflex Sight, and Sleight of Hand attachments.
