Blue Fire Cheats and Tips

Flame Essence in Blue Fire will enable you to restore your entire health when used. In order to use it you simply have to press 'UP' on he D-Pad of your Switch controller. Flame Essence can be obtained as drops by breaking the crates, barrels, and pots that are scattered around levels. You can only hold two Flame Essence in your inventory at any one time, so it is advised you save them for when it is absolutely necessary to use them. Don't waste them if you are near to a Flame Spirit Shrine or only slightly wounded.

It is recommended that you avoid the temptation of spending your Ore on emotes and instead save it and invest in a larger pouch which will be an essential item once you start meeting the NPCs and begin obtaining new equipment and Spirits. The pouch you begin with holds a maximum of 2,999 Ore at once and although adequate at the beginning of the game you will quickly learn when you start to meet NPCs such as Ari or The Spirit Hunter that some items go above this maximum.

It is essential that you take your time in Blue Fire and explore everywhere thoroughly in order to find the collectables that will make your progression in the game easier. Keep an eye out for treasure chests as these will often contain things like new weapons and gems which you can sell on at a high price. There will also be items that come as a set which you can trade with NPCs for special items. By breaking the barrels, pots, and crates that are scattered around you can also find Ore, the main currency of the game which you can then use to purchase Spirits and most regular items at merchants.

Near the beginning of the game you will be presented with an opportunity to obtain Ore without grinding by purchasing the Golden Lust Spirit for 2500 Ore. This will happen when you arrive at Stone Heart City and go up the spiral staircase which is located at the back which leads to an old library where there will be a monk who offers to sell you several spirits, one of which being the Golden Lust Spirit which when you equip doubles your collected Ore.
