Bayonetta 3 Trailer

Bayonetta 3 follows the titular angel-hunting witch Bayonetta, who must face against man-made bioweapons called Homunculi, and an entity known as the Singularity which threatens to destroy the multiverse.

Bayonetta 3 Cheats, Tips Strategy

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why you should explore thoroughly and how to access the secret practice zone.

  • Get Guns from Bayonetta 1 & 2

If you have save files from Bayonetta 1 & 2 on the same Switch that you are playing Bayonetta 3 on you'll get to unlock some of the classic guns from those games. As well as the actual gun you also get the weapon's move sets from Rodin's shop too after you have played the Japan intro chapter.

You may still have to part with some in-game currency though to yes them!

  • How To Unlock All Costumes & Outfits

Simply purchase the outfit or color at Rodin's shop and you then then customize your character.

  • How To Unlock Jeanne as a Playable Character

Jeanne will become unlocked and available to use after you have completed the game once.

  • How To Unlock Alraune Demon & Alruna Weapon

This can be done by collecting Umbran Tears of Blood and unlock a particular Phenomenal Remnant.

You can get the 3 Umbran Tears in Chapter 3 (Toad, Crow & Cat).

Then complete Chapter 3's Phenomenal Remnant 3 to get the Alraune Demon & Alruna Weapon.

  • Saving your Game

Keep in mind you will not be able to manually save in Bayonetta 3 once a mission starts. There are checkpoints scattered throughout the game, but there is no clear indication of where they begin. After a mission though you will be able to return to any one of these checkpoints which will be laid out for you to see.

This means that before you start a mission you should look to complete it in one sitting in order to avoid losing progress. Another option is to put the Switch to sleep, but this means wasting battery life and there is always the risk of the system crashing.

  • Explore Thoroughly

There are plenty of secrets hidden in the environment for you to discover in Bayonetta 3 so make sure you explore thoroughly. These include action challenges and hidden pieces of art. There is no map in the game that you can use for a guide so finding things is not always easy.

If at any point you are not sure where you need to go you can always take advantage of the waypoint system which with the click of the left stick on the controller will point you in the right direction.

  • Secret Practice Zone

Practice mode in Bayonetta 3 will become available once you have completed a couple of missions. However, if you press the plus button on your Switch controller to pause a load you will gain accesses to a practice zone that will enable you to dance about and test out combos.

  • Visit the Gates Of Hell Shop

Visit the Gates of Hell shop to stock up on usable health items, get alternate costumes for the playable characters, and also equip them with accessories.

Make sure before you embark on a mission you have a Red Hot Shot in your inventory just in case things go drastically wrong, and you need to be revived from death.

  • Never Skip Challenge Portals

If you go off the beaten track and explore the surrounding areas you will likely stumble across a Challenge Portal. These portals are Verse challenges and once you find one you should commit to conquering it as they are a great way to stock up on Broken Witch Hearts and Broken Moon Pearls.

They will also enable you to gain valuable combat experience for the endgame as you will be forced to use your weapons to their full maximum potential.
