February Game Releases 2017
The game release line op for February has a few highlights. PS4 console exclusives, Nioh and Horizon Zero Dawn will get a lot of attention as will Halo Wars 2 (Xbox One / PC). And the cross platform 'For Honor' from Ubisoft and the potential fun of Lego Worlds has us excited.
Lego Worlds (PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One)
Its been a while coming having been in development for 2 years and Early access Beta on Steam for much of the time. Build worlds with lego in a similar manner to Minecraft with friends online. Create, destroy and rebuild.
Nioh (PlayStation 4)
Nioh is an action role-playing game developed by Team Ninja. Take on the role of William, thrown into the middle of conflicts in feudal era Japan surrounded by mythological creatures.
Halo Wars 2 (Windows PC and Xbox One)
In this sequel to the popular real time strategy game players focus on deck building and card-based strategy. A new villain Atriox and his mercenary group, The Banished, try to get their hands on the most powerful weapons in the galaxy. The game will be included in Microsoft’s Xbox Play Anywhere program.
Horizon Zero Dawn (PlayStation 4)
HZD looks to be an exciting new take on the post apocalyptic genre with nature and machine merged to provide an impressive and dangerous world for young a hunter named Aloy as she embarks on a journey to discover her destiny. Horizon Zero Dawn, combines Monster Hunter-style gameplay, and role-playing game progression.
Also
Also worth noting is the closed beta for Ghost Recon: Wildlands (PC, PS4, Xbox One) which will be available from February 3-6.
