The Farmville Discovery: Mastery Billboards

While purchasing a completed or even a capped-off Mastery Sign Billboard is always an option, most players will prefer to go the free route, which means placing the Billboard kit and then adding the required components by asking their mates to gift them to them. In that case the following requirements will apply:

Adding the required building materials to any of the above kits will obtain a Level 1 ready-to-use Mastery Sign Billboard of the specific type for the player. To increase the total number of Mastery Signs that can be stored in each of the Billboards the player will then need to select the Billboard and click on the 'Expand' button, after which they will be shown the list and number of required components to achieve the next level of expansion, and will then need to ask their mates to send them more of the proper types, depending upon which Billboard they wish to expand.

There are five (5) distinct stages that each of the Billboards will go through in the construction and expansion process, with Stage 1 being the placement of the Kit form, which cannot actually be used to store or display Mastery Signs until the kit has been "built" and is completed, at which point it enters Stage 2, with a capacity of 10 Mastery Signs. Each expansion following this increases the maximum capacity to 25 / 50 / 100 / 200, and finally 500 Mastery Signs in total.

Should you have more Mastery Signs than your capped-off Billboard will hold take heart! It appears that once you can purchase additional Kits once your current one has been completed for Farmville Coins, so in theory there will always be room for more signage!
