There are three curencies in the game, they are listed below along with how to obtain them.

Gold

Gold is the farmable currency used to buy Heroes, Skins and Arcana at the shop.

Gems

Gems can be obtained through completing quests and they can be spent in the Gem Shop to get Double EXP card for now.

Vouchers

Vouchers are the premium currency in the game and are puchased using real money, they can be used to buy heroes, skins, bundles, Lucky Boxes and EXP/Gold cards.
